I must say, I am pleasantly surprised I enjoyed this book as much as I did. It's a new twist and a new combo (for me at least...zombies and vamps? Yes please!). Honestly, I can't think of a thing I didn't like about it. However, it escaped my notice that this book was the first in the series. *sigh* Not very good at being patient but will do my best because you better believe I'm getting the next one!

When he grew up, Carson did adult things (graduate from college, raise kids, etc.) until he realized that the child in him still wanted to write. He still ...more
