I loved it! it was a very refreshing story about problems teens have today.

Cute, predictable--those are the words I would use to describe this book. I didn't hate it, I didn't love it. It was all right; a bit above average, but not quite 3.5 stars.

I'll start off with what I didn't enjoy. If this seems harsh, it isn't meant to be. I simply have very many feelings about this book, and not all of them are good.

Kayla annoyed me. I'll just come out and say it. She started out as a holier-than-thou Christian, in my opinion. Oh, he has a scar; what a bad boy! Oh, I can't kis

Beth has written a wonderful Christian YA story. Once I started to read it I could not put it down. This story brought me back into time when I went on retreats with my church as a teenager. This is the second book I've read from this author. I enjoyed this one even more. I liked how the author incorporated the character's emotions. I don't want to spoil anything, but the author did a phenomenal job with making the character relatable through her thoughts. I feel that a lot of teens go through the same emotions as the characters in this book. It was something I had not yet read before, and I feel that it is an important topic to be expressed. I do wish it had been longer though. It ...more

I am the author of this book --- my second in the young adult fiction genre. I am currently working on two other novels --- one about a pretty, popular girl who suddenly finds herself dealing with the shame of her mother's suicide and the other an adult fiction work that I am collaborating with my friend, Greg Dixon (with whom I worked on Cut Out for Love).
