With my new screen background, the mood of romance is set to begin on my first review in a couple months; Sara Curran-Ross’s Sleeping Love. After a fight with the Adobe suite on the computer, I’m thrilled to be finally sitting down to this. So, with another cup of coffee, I relax, and indulge in the wonderful web that Sara weaves as a story-teller.
A sense of fairytale romance with veins of possible danger was an instant and intense picture that is painted from the first words. Sara has managed t...more

The cover drew me in to read the book, as I usually read paranormal romances this one clearly doesn’t fit that description, but it was read on intuition. And I should listen more often to my intuition, because I liked reading this book. I’m not going to spoil anything, but this is one romantic novel, readers of this genre should not miss. It’s very sensually written, and has a mysterious air surrounding it.

Sabrina, doesn’t remember anything but being near Raoul she longs for his touch and his pr...more

★★1/2--So.... we have a beautiful amnesiac who (after seven years) is reunited with her mysterious husband at a Chateau in the French countryside (this seems completely plausible, right?). The story goes downhill from here. The husband is an a$$ who puts his wife in all sorts of dangerous situations to "help" her regain her memory. Sorry, but being rich and gorgeous does not excuse being a misogynistic jerk. Disliked the hero, was disdainful of the heroine and bored by the baddies.

Good thing th...more

This book was horrible. The main male character is a misogynistic ass who imprisons and bullies an amnesia victim. ( For her own good of course, a woman couldn't possibly be trusted to take care of herself. )The sex scenes were remarkably un-erotic. The entire book is riddled with misspelled words, incorrect grammar and formatting errors. I can look beyond grammar and formatting if the story is engaging, but that wasn't the case here. I'm just glad it was free because I would be mad if I spent e...more

My definition of a dime-store novel. Not that that's a bad thing! Part mystery, part suspense thriller, part pure cliche romance. A short read, I could have finished it in an afternoon if I had had the time to devote to it. Enjoyable, if slightly predictable. I liked the story line and the narration, and would definitely suggest it to anyone looking to spend an afternoon with a little guilty pleasure reading. I started it while I was playing with my kindle and got hooked.

Really, it was just okay... I got hooked on with the way the story began... but after a few chapters, I felt like Sara Curran-Ross just kept draggin' da darn plot... Argh!
And somehow I could never find myself bonding with characters like the chauvinistic Raoul Valoire, nor the damsel-in-distress... their relationship just killed it for me!
And the erotic scenes are nothing to boast abt either... Pfft!!!

I found this book under kindle free books option and really enjoyed. I was suspicious of everyone that Sabrina encountered as the one that put her in the hospital all those years ago. I couldn't decide whether I liked the husband or he was a terrible person. I would read another book by this author after stumbling upon this one

Another book where there is no smooth transition into the novel, the text is poorly written, and the plot so transparent that I didn't read more than an chapter or two and then put it down. Such is the way with free Amazon books - they're free for a reason. I'm looking to be impressed. This didn't impress me.

This book was just ok. I don't know why I had higher expectations...it was free. I was just hoping for....well, something a little less perfect. It wasn't awful, as romance books go - it was just nothing that I will remember a week from now. Completely forgettable in every way.

reminds me of a 2nd-rate HP, with editing, grammatical, and spelling errors. the amnesia bit with the heroine was so-so, as was the whole story, actually. it passed an hour for me, but won't be a read-again book.

The story line was intriguing and kept my interest. The characters were deep and 3D instead of boring and one dimensional.

Loved this book a woman cant remember what caused her to wake up in a hospital with no memory of how it happened. She goes to the man's house where her accident happened. She doesnt recognize the man, but should she? He seems a handsome enough man until he one day says she is not to leave he is her wife *SHOCK* She is not believing that she can not remember ever being this mans wife. In this story you will learn of Betrayal, Deceit, and lots more. If you havent read this book i would suggest you...more
