Great Thai food book. Beautiful pictures, great tips on preparation techniques, plating, and presentation; oh, and outstanding recipes. If you enjoy Thai food then this is a must-have cookbook for your collection. Be warned, however: this cookbook is not for the faint-of-heart. Some of these recipes are pretty involved -- my favorite (the shrimp satay) is an hour-long time-sensitive dance in the kitchen that's as much choreography as it is culinary. About seven years ago, when we were going to Thai restaurants all the time, we finally decided to learn to cook it ourselves. We've since mastered many recipes. The dishes in this book rival any we've had in a restaurant. Great glossary at the front. Tempting pictures!
