This book reminded me of why I don't read 'short stories' that often. You get so invested and then want more. Instead you get a whole different story, different characters, different situations.

The first story was my favorite.

If I Had My Way (a collection of ten short stories) is the epitome of the wish to change 'something' in our lives. I enjoyed each of the stories because in every one I could see where the main character could have changed one simple choice and ended with totally different outcome. Who doesn't wish in their lives to fix something? Lena Sledge did an awesome job telling these stories and stirring emotions. I recommend the book highly.
