Great analysis of the content of family stories. Would love to read a book that focuses more on form and one that has been updated to a more contemporary audience.

Really about family storytelling. How we control the future of our descendents with the iron links of our ancestral past. Not deep - thank God. But profound, in a fun way.

Favorite moment: Ph.D. realizes she is not intelligent because of her big nose.

I liked how this book analyzed family stories. It gave me the idea that our family narratives can almost be as rich as literary works.

Abandoned, sorry to say! I liked the idea of it very much, but the actual reading of it very little.
