Chelsea Robison has never forgotten the older boy next door whom she crushed on as a teen, so when she runs into him at the restaurant he’s preparing to open, it’s a delightful shock. And learning he’s available again is more than a little tantalizing.

Vaughn Krenshaw had never seen his neighbor as more than a nice kid—but Chelsea had definitely grown up in the decade since

A great novella! I thought it was just long enough, not too short (like some novellas are). Chelsea was an easy character to like, as was Vaughn. You really felt for them when they were trying to figure things out (with little help from Molly, his daughter and Cameron, her brother). Rena was great, as was Melissa (the sister-in-law). Sharon was the epitome of a wicked mother-in-law. Yikes! I felt the conflicts were resolved quite nicely and LOVED the end!

I thought that the spunky personality of the heroine was fun. And the little girl was way cute. However, there were quite a few things that kinda bugged me about this novella. The biggest was that I just had a really hard time getting into the romance and then when it finally did happen it didn't feel believable. This book was short, clean and had some comical things happen.

I liked it. It was a quick read which I needed for a distraction. The only thing that bugged me was the formatting was off. Words like she were split between lines and pages did not fit on my Nook...weird.

3.5 stars. I enjoyed this novella -- a quick read on my Kindle!

A bit too contrived and sappy for me. But still fun to read! :)
