The more I review, the more I realise how important a book’s cover is. Not simply because I’m the kind of reader who equates a beautiful cover with a brilliant read (I’ve been burnt a few times for succumbing to that particular lure), but because a cover is such an integral part of branding. I just finished reading this book, and I loved it! What a fun read! I won this Kelly Hunter book in a Goodreads Daily Drawing, and it arrived signed by the author along with a personal note from her. This was a fun romance, but it wasn't trashy. The characters were well-developed and were very believable, and the way the plot unfolded was done in a unique and interesting way. The book takes place in Singapore, and the author gives the reader a feel for both the wealth and the poverty of the city...more

This is a really fun read. It is set in Singapore and the author has written it in a way that you get a real feeling that you are there. The characters are all likeable and you get to feel the ones that are wealthy and them that are not as weathly. This is a very good romance and the plot unfolds very well and you can not predict too much about what it going to happen - which is good. Highly recommended read - good if you are on holiday and laying by the pool!
