This story is surprising in many different ways. It has some great food descriptions as Rusty prepares a Valentine’s Day dinner for Hal, his partner of five years. The food is delicious, and the two men are clearly ready for the main event once they are done eating. Retiring to the basement for some very hot sex, they are truly wrapped up in each other. Their professional-grade bomb shelter, built by Rusty for the slightly paranoid Hal, is so safe that anything could happen outside and they woul...more

This is a very short story revolving around Rusty and his Valentine Day surprise for his love, Hal. Rusty works at a construction company and begins the day a little irritated at coworkers who “forget” that Rusty is Deaf, and so don’t take the time to allow him to lip read, or won’t repeat what was said. Rusty heads home to give Hal an overdue surprise, including his favorite dinner and dessert. He also went all out and had the basement of their home converted...more

WAIT A SECOND! Why read a valentine's short story if it's not valentine's day anymore?

I will give you two reasons. The first reason is obvious... it's a very sweet romantic story

to readers that want also charming love story with also a touch of kinky scenes. Rusty want to please his lover, and a fancy dinner with a nice sexy surprise is his way to show his love. Hal and Rusty are wonderful... it's all in Rusty point of view, so yes, it's a very sweet point of view... because Rusty don't just lo...more

Rusty is excited because it is Valentine's Day and he has an amazing surprise for his boyfriend Hal..... He leaves work early to make a special dinner for Hal and get his gift ready..... Hal after leaving work late finally arrives home to wonderful smells and Rusty looking dishy.

After dinner Rusty blindfolds Hal takes him to the den. Locks the Bomb shelter Door and shows him his present. And the fun begins.

has m/m but in a kinky yet tasteful manner... beautiful story, highly recommend!!!

ENJOY :D

Rusty arranges a lovely valentines surprise, great food and great sex with Hal his partner of five years.

This is a very short but heart warming story with a very quirky/ surprising ending!!!.

It made me think there must be a part 2 to this tale as they cant be left in that situation

The MCs were lovely together, a little bit kinky and the ending gave me a great surprise!
I am not sure if I can say it's a sweet read or horror. But it's too short, I really want to know what's going
to happen next.

A nice descriptive romantic short story. The ending provided a nice twist although a bit depressing to think about having a nice romantic night and then waking up to find the world as it is.

Very sweet Valentine's Day story! I enjoyed reading this especially since one of the MC's was deaf, something you don't see too often. Very sweet!

This was a cute story with a bizarre twist at the end that made me laugh. I don't think it was needed, but eh...why the hell not?

Rusty has a very sweet thoughtful and sexy suprise for his lover of 5yrs for Valentines Day.
The ending was a sort of Huh? really, now what!?
But that was ok, I have a good feeling about these two, but something about the writing style was a bit off, it was almost too detailed at least for me!

Rusty's Surprise was an sweet short story about Valentine's Day and doing something unexpected and loving for your partner. What made this story very entertaining was the suspenseful and surprising ending! Can't wait for more from these characters and the world that Zach has created.
