Such a stunning and an amazing read!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Legend of the Inero Dragon.
Jenkins had me captured with the title. Dragons are my favourite mythical creature and my love for them have grown even more. Reading them in a new light was amazing.
I was so fascinated with the world and the Dragons Jenkins has created. It was awe inspiring. The world that has been created is filled with dragons of four different nations. Some fly and others don’t. They all have different strengths an...more

Matt always understands her and she only feels safe and comfortable when around him. He tells her she’ll be chosen as one of the Elite and then they will be able to be together. What he doesn’t tell her is that he’s a dragon who can look human…
This author creates a magical world where male dragons rule the world. They take a human shape (a pretty hot one, by the way) and live in the big castle. The two main characters are twins: Matt and Jason. While they are twins, they are not alike. Ms. Jenki...more

In this sequel, the Dragons Saga continues with the focus shifting from the Oceina dragons to one of the other four dragon kin, the Inero. The story overlaps in time line and portions of the story even cover the same scenes from a different perspective with Legend of the Oceina Dragon, but this one should probably be read after the first one where much of the dragon world is explained. This is a good series that can be enjoyed by teens and adults alike.

I really liked this book! It was about twin dragon brothers, Jason and Matt. These dragons looked like humans most of the time though. Tradition dictates dragons of a certain age must be married to become men. On a certain date they would choose from a lineup of human girls to marry. Since they would choose from a lineup it was pretty much an arranged marriage. Choosing their bride would be the marriage ceremony, and immediately following could do married things. Most of Jason's 100+ brothers to...more
I have really enjoyed this series of Dragon books by J.F. Jenkins. The world created by Jenkins is beautiful fantasy world. Having read the Legend of the Oceina Dragon first, I was eager to dive into the Legend of the Inero Dragon. This story introduces the Fire Dragons and their culture. After reading the Oceina book, I expected the Inero Dragons to be selfish, power hungry, and bloodthirsty. However, Jenkins introduces us to Jason and Matthius, a pair of identical twins, who are favored sons o...more
This story begins with the selection of a group known as the Elite. Young girls are stripped from their parents when they come of age. This story takes us through the process by focusing on the twin boys and their chosen mates. Matt was lucky. He had met and fallen in love with Kat 5 years before the selection process even began. He could never tell Kat how he felt, what he was, or that he hoped she would be chosen as an elite so they could be together. All he could do was be there for her when...more
Legend of the Inero Dragon, book 2 of the Dragon Saga series takes place on the other side of the dragon world on the island of the Inero. There is some overlap between books 1 and 2 so if you read the first book, there will be an important event that you will see coming. I really enjoyed this book just as much as the last. The first book took place on the island of the Oceina and after reading that book, I started to think of them as the "good guys." However, book 2 is from the point of view of...more
I received a free copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review. This is Book 2 of The Dragon Saga. This novel’s focus is on The Legend of the Inero Dragon. The timeframe is about the same time as in The Legend of the Oceina Dragon. This is where we get the Inero perspective and find out what causes the Ineros’ dislike of the peacekeeping Oceinas. I enjoyed the God/Devil portion, considering what happens after; it makes you wonder which inhabits which twin. Once again, really awesome chara...more

My thoughts
Cover: I think it's Gwen and Jason.Love the fire pictured on the cover. The fire of Inero
Book:The sequel was way better than the first. It's a companion novel you could say but still book two in a series. From the point of view of the enemy!?. The Inero

A synposis is like a good car salesman, it spins you a story that you want to read. It gives you just enough details to make you want it. Well I was sold a lemon, this book is 1.5 star worthy. It was set n modern time, I think, but i kept getting an old timey feel from the ideals and some of the dialogue. The book feels or rather reads like its chunks of other book all stuck together, mostly because t switches point of view for every chapter. Terrible ending too. I know there are more books but...more

Legend of the Oceina Dragon was one of my favorite books of 2011, so I was anxious to get my hands on this one.
Legend of the Inero Dragon takes place at the same time book one does. It was fascinating to see the other end of things. The Inero Dragons are much different from any of the other nations. They do not fly and they are very aggressive and tricky. J.F did a wonderful job of expanding the reader's view of the different nations in this book. The character and world development is nice and...more

Last year I came across a new YA author, J.F. Jenkins - I was lucky enough to be part of a book tour (via The Teen Book Scene) of her first installment of The Dragons Saga: Legend of the Oceina Dragon. I fell in love right away. Not only with dragons, the romance and the plots but with J.F. Jenkins herself! I honestly cannot tell you in words what her writing does to me. There is something so simple yet complex with her word choice, her tone, and everything about it that continually blows me awa...more

I loved this book as much, if not more than the first. I felt like the author did a great job of continuing to build the world she started in the first. The tension in this book built beautifully, and I found the duality of the story being told from the twins perspective heightened the mystique.
I would recommend this book to: Fantasy lovers, fans of Madeline L'Engle books, and paranormal fans.

Twins Jason and Matt are inseparable since birth. After each took a wife on their birthday, they became separated while each struggling try to deal with their father whose plan was to start the attack on Oceina.
This is the second in the Dragons Saga. This novel focuses on the Inero dragons, who were the enemies in the previous novel. So naturally, I went into this story wanting to hate them. Of course, as the story progressed I started to understand where they were coming from and why they did the things they did. Read the rest of this review here: paperbackandfrosting.com
