This is the second book by Salil Desai after 'The Body In The Back Seat'. Murder on a side street is a very simple and straight forward thriller novel mainly based on the life of some freshly passed college students who have just started their job life.

Three couples-six friends Sandeep, Divya, Kapil, Sharmeen, Jerry and Aarushi are very much irritated with there present job life. Among them Sandeep has the most irritating boss, Wadhwa, who constantly abuses him and threatens to spoil his career

Very good suspense thriller.. Predictive at times, but good read.
Enjoyable! However, I should mention that, being from a suspense genre, the book is not gripping enough to keep you biting your nails. The plot is pretty much predictable and sequence is very bollywoodish :) Yet a hearty and a light read. Recommended for 'Not So Serious' readers.
did not keep me glued..the plot wasn't quite interesting and pretty ordinary.
looks like made for a short serial/sop on TV.
