The entire reason I ended up reading this book was because it is a part of our local authors collection at the library where I work, and I was required to write a review of it on our blog.

That said, I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to a child aged 10-14. Waking the Dreamer was a quaint little tale about Tyler and Zack, brothers. The story moved rather quickly, which I liked, and I liked the paranormal elements as well as the abruptness of their discovery. I found myself wanting to know more about Eena and Talia, and I was disappointed when the book ended with more questions to answer than there had been before. But, it was an enjoyable read. If you're looking for an interesting young adult novel, this is for you.

I won this book in the Goodreads contest. I must say it was a quick easy read. The story moved quickly and the characters were fun. I am looking forward to the next adventure.
