There's a reason Garrison Keillor chose two poems from this book to read on Writer's Almanac and that's because they are good: intelligent, humorous, touching. Like Keillor, I was taken with "Drop Dead!" and also "Garbage Day," "We Use Him," "The Boss," "Wild Domestic," "I'll Give Your Red," "Big Mouth" and others.
