Rick Lenz, more well-known as Richard Lenz, the Hollywood leading man opposite Goldie Hawn in Cactus Flower, has written a memoir that is full of insight about the roll-coaster life as a star and working actor for decades in Hollywood. It's written without verbosity or viciousness.
In a refreshing turnabout from most first-person accounts out of tinseltown, the heroine of this story is Linda, Rick's spectacularly beautiful and classy wife of many years.

Wow! So unlike anything I've ever read. This unique look at life in Hollywood is a must read! Not only do you get to hear some stories of celebrities (I personally love Lucille Ball so it was cool to "see" her in this), but you really get insight into an actor's life, with his family and career.

I was so excited to read Rick's first book, as I knew I had seen him on a few classic tv episodes played on Nick-at-Nite when I was growing up, and knew he had worked with some of the biggest names in the business. I love to get the inside-scoop on the Hollywood scene from someone who has lived it. Rick is so genuine and warm in his delivery and I absolutely LOVED reading up on (particularly) Lucille Ball (I do, love Lucy :))... You will love this book - especially if you have any connections
