Buffy’s dreams have become all too real lately as she deals with a magicless world. She's still fighting creatures of the night, as Willow and Xander grow distant and nightmares plague the Slayer. But something is telling Buffy that there is more to her dreams than meets the eye... and that her greatest fears may yet become reality!

Best issue this season, so far. After the campy (zompires!) and slightly disjointed first arc this was interesting; had a nice call back to the s8 issue of the same number, had tones of one of my favourite episodes 'Restless', and had some interesting set up for the rest of the season. I'm not sure how I feel about the revelation at the end, that'll all depend on how it plays out; it has the potential to be interesting. Issues 2, 3, and 4 were a little lackluster. I was beginning to think that season 9 was gonna be as bad as most people think season 8, which I enjoyed despite its faults, was. This issue proved me wrong. The First Slayer shows up along with a callback to the fifth issue of season 8 providing a pretty solid idea of where the next story arc, and possibly the rest of the season, is going.

Definitely the best of this Season's run. It's getting back into the mythology of the show, and back to the characters more. Some hints about things to come and a rather unexpected reveal at the end.

Big surprise in this one! Did not see that one coming! But gotta say, I like where it is going. Also absolutely in love with Steve Morris's cover on this one!

This episode features Buffy's dreams and a stunning revelation. My unpopular opinion is that I wish Georges had done the art for this one.

Reading these is just like watching the tv show again.

This issue had so many surprises and little twists to set up the next book I can't wait.

I hope that last panel meant what I think it means.

Why did Karl Moline draw Buffy's boobs so huge? It was totally distracting.
