I won this book from Librarything in exchange for an honest review.
The way I felt reading this book is somewhat similar to how the main character feels about the psychedelic adventure that Caprice takes him on throughout the book. This technique was risky, but for the most part paid off in the end, and I appreciate that Aubry took this risk. I felt very unsteady and confused for the first half of the book (and so does Danny the protagonist). Here we have a very bizarre situation of a office crus...more

Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book from the author in a giveaway in exchange for an honest, pre-release review.
Danny has been living his cubicle existence, just getting by, when the woman of his dreams walks onto his floor. He’s noticed her before, and had a crush on her, but had never had the nerve to get up and talk to her – suddenly she is there looking for him – Caprice: quirky, strange and adorable. Taking him into the stairway on an ostensible voyage to the Billing department,...more

I won this book on Librarything.
I enjoyed Caprice. At some points, it was a little juvenile in the writing style. But it kept your interest.
Danny finds himself infatuated with the new girl at the office. When she seems to return his interest, he cant' believe it.
She kidnaps him and takes him on a wild adventure. Danny can't make up his mind what Caprice really is, but it's obvious that she's not human. She makes Danny feel every human emotion possible throughout the story (love, confusion, fear)....more

I got this book from Librarything for a honest review. I honestly stopped reading this book at first. I couldn't get into it and wad some what confused. I didn't put it down and continued reading. Im glad I did. It really turned out good. Danny I somewhat liked even if I thought he was an idiot at times. He really turns his self around near the end and started using his head. It is very nice trying to find out who or what Caprice is. It really is great trying to solve the mystery. A very nice pa...more
This book got off to a slow start. I was finding myself rather bored by it at first. I just wasn’t sure where the author was taking the story. Then it started to pick up as Danny and the reader try to figure Caprice out. It was a fun guessing game. I don’t have much to say about this book. It was a fun, quick read and one that I recommend to those who like a quirky mystery.

From the first chapter of Caprice, I was captivated. Edward Aubry has created a novel that is quite original. This novel is full of twists and turns that keeps you on your toes and holds your attention from start to end. The characters are unique and really ignite the story in a blaze. I couldn't stop reading until I was finished. I hope that their is a sequel to this novel, for it ended too soon and at such a cliffhanger.

I won a copy of this book from Library Thing, first winning the eBook version and then buying the paperback on my own. It took me a really long time to get into it, it is a quirky, psychedelic book, but once I picked it up again I thought it was pretty good. I am normally not a fan of this genre, but decided to give it a try and I am glad that I did. The book is an adventure that the further it goes, the deeper the mystery of who Caprice is. At only 198 pages, this is a very quick read, but you...more
