After reading: on a scale of 1 to 10, this book was epic! I loved it! It certainly did not disappoint! X-D

the cover is glowing and blinding me! lol love it!

The world of the Dark-Hunters is unlike anything you’ve every seen before. It’s dark. It’s gritty. It’s dangerous…

And it’s a whole lot of fun and a lot of laughs.

My name is Nick Gautier and this is the story of my life.

First off, get the name right. It’s pronounced Go-shay not Go-tee-ay or Goat-chay (that has an extra H in it and as my mom says we’re so poor we couldn’t afford the extra letter). I’m not some fanc

Infamous, by Sherrilyn Kenyon pretty much says it all.. who needs to actually write a review? But I will try. When JK Rohling wrote Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, I hated it. It wasn’t because it was dark, I got that, it wasn’t poorly written, it wasn’t about the fact that the world was out to get Harry, No. It was about the fact that 15 year old Harry had a huge attitude. It took me forever to realize that it was the only realistic thing in the book. I had a 15 year old male child at t ...more

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Another awesome book by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I have been waiting for this one since Invincible and it was so worth it. Nick continues to grow but never losing his hilarious cajun roots. I was literally laughing out loud on serveral occasions, which was not good because I was at working listening to the audiobook. Are you trying to get me fired Ms. Kenyon? And the cliffhanger at the end. OMG! I won't spoil it for those who haven't finished it, but it is going to be a shocker. I didn ...more

Reading this book, I found a new side of myself that I honestly never thought existed. Now, before you think I mean that in a good way, stop. I bought this book the day it came out. I was first in line for it. I read it in one day and it took me until today to write the review because I just could not trust myself not to blow up in fury.
Never in my whole existence have I EVER wanted to reach into a book, wrap my hands around the neck of a fictional character and squeeze. I have never felt so f

There are distinct comparison from an emotionally-draining read to emotionally-tugging read. I think Infamous had pulled the latter best. This is a heartfelt read, even when you read crazy things like demons possessing people or crazy rich billionaire heir who worked as busboy.Yes, its in this one book that I claimed to be heartfelt. It is because it caught me at times when I least suspected. The vulnerable part of emotions being portrayed by the casts; Nick, and espe

Nick Gautier's life becomes more complicated and unbelievable as he realizes he has the potential to become the most evil and destructive creature in the universe. And a few months ago, all he thought he had to worry about was disappointing his mom, wearing tacky shirts and getting beat up at school. Will he be able to keep hold of his humanity or will he lose it all?

I am a huge Kenyon fan. I'll be upfront about that. I've read her Dark Hunter series for years and became hooked on The League whe

If I could I would give this book 4.5 since I am a hardcore Kenyon fan and I did love this book. However, while there were many pros, there were some cons as well.

- The story was wonderfully fast-paced and action packed. It was also as intricate and mysterious as all her books. I don't know how that woman stores so much in her brain, but she is a spectacular story teller.

- The dialogue was hilarious, relatable and full of depth and meaning all at once. Kenyon truly understands emotions and

I started reading this series when I was in the middle of Kenyon's Dark Hunter series. If you've read them, then I'm sure you know about where I was when I just had to know all the things about Nick. All the things!

This series just gets better and better. It's funny, fast paced, full of quirky and fun characters, and there's cameos from the Dark Hunter-verse. Once I pick one of these books up, it's hard to put it down.

Nick and his friends find themselves in all sorts of shenanigans, onc

This was another slow story and Nick as once again harassed, beaten, and left for dead, which seems to happen a lot in this series, we were also left with another cliff hanger (view spoiler)

International bestselling author, Sherrilyn Kenyon, returns again to bring forward another spectacular novel that will captivate readers from beginning to end. Her audience of “Menyons” range from 2 week old infants to 102 years-olds. Ms. Kenyon has inspired thousands to pursue their dreams and follow their hearts. Her stupendous writing has brought fantasy to life where there is no limit to the world of imagination.

Infamous is the third young-adult paranormal fantasy book in Kenyon’s Chronicle

Did someone swap out the Ms. Kenyon I've been dutifully following? I did not like this book at all. This book was a hot mess for me. Or perhaps this is how it supposed to be since it's a young adult book. If this is what young adult books are supposed to be like, then it's a damn good thing I never had books like this when I was a young adult.

Infamous is the third installment in the Chronicles of Nick series and finally we are getting to some good stuff. That's not to say that I didn't have problems with this book, because I did but I'll get to that later.

Someone is causing problems at the school spreading horrible rumors and photo shopping things to make them look real and kids are going nuts. The complaint I had with this is I felt it went a bit far as almost everyone was believing them and some of the victims were co

This is Kenyon's third installment of the series Chronicles of Nick and just like her latest book, I did not enjoy this one at all. It lacked good action and her characters are not interesting anymore.

Nick: Nick (older, DH version) is more interesting than this kid who keeps on getting grounded by his mom. This Nick is just a high-school kid going through puberty and learning about the DH world. Some people may like this Nick series, but I don't because I just don't find the kid version of him i

What else can I say other that I am addicted to this series? With each new installment, I fall in love all over again!

So what is new in Nick's world? Oh nothing just himself from the future coming to him to help not mess up for the one hundred million time, all the while every time he turns around he is on the brink of being killed, his mom is on him about his grades and school, plus he has work and a girlfriend he must attend too. WOO! Nick has been busy!

This is the most amazing book ever!!!! It's the third book in the Nick Chronical series and is the the best so far. Nick faces all the troubles of school, like his teacher, the principle, Stone, things trying to kill him, and a website posted for the whole school to see that attacks alot of kids including Nick and his friend Briana. He has to go to court because he is accused of rape and also has to save Briana from suicide. On top of that he finds a deep secret about his girlfriend Kody that ma ...more

*Sob* Yes, I'm a big baby, this made me cry...a lot. I have a son, he's almost 11, he's my world. When I see the relationship between Nick and his mom, it warms my heart. Yes, there are wonderful children out there, like Nick. I have one. One with a big heart, old soul, and respectful of others.

Now, my opinion...This is a fantastic series and every teen should read it. It's a paranormal story with vampires, demons, and other preternatural creatures, but also deals with a lot of the issues kids f
Nick is walking on the darkside and stoping into it a few times too much for comfort. His father is aware of his powers and has come looking for some of them. Nick must die for him to have them, not a good outcome for him. Nick is beaten so many times it is incredible that he still can walk and talk. His mother, bless her bad mother heart, just can't ever give him a break. She doubts him in everything and puts his life at even greater risk. His school, friends and others all turn on him as a new ...more

Holy crap things got really sad in this one, when you find out what a lot of these characters went through in their past. This book really focused on depression and overcoming it, and I couldn't help but feel a lot happier after reading it. There are so many great messages in this series that make me look forward to the other books, just to learn something new. As far as the story goes, this series looks like it's going to have a crazy endgame. Whatever kind of outcome Nick is going to have, whe ...more

Poooooor fin, terminado...

And Bubba asdfghjkl I love him! He can't die :)

Oh almost forgot, every time Ash appears I start fangirling !! He is another of my favourite characters of ALL TIME

Another great adventure for Nick Gautier, I'm really enjoying listening to this series and getting to know Nick as a teenager.
What to say, what to say?
While I absolutely idolise Kenyon and her God given talent for creating a world I desperately want to be a part of, I’m not so sure I loved Infamous as much as I should have.

There were definitely some parts in the story that left me baffled and turning back pages to see if I’d somehow missed a chunk of it. But no, I’d just stumbled across a piece where it was so jumpy and sketchy it took a few seconds to make sense of everything.

But wait, I’m getting ahead of myself here

The books in the Chronicles of Nick series are so addictive. As soon as I finish one, I want to read the next book! Sadly, after finishing Infamous I realised that book four, Inferno, won’t be out for a while. It’s going to be a long wait!

Infamous started with Nick finding out that Ambrose was actually his future self and the whole scene between the two of them was hilarious. Nick could make a joke out of anything – even serious matters such as becoming the reason for the end of the world. And f

I liked this book, I really did. But there was a bitter undercurrent that soured the book for me. The development of the sub-characters has already occurred; I'd have really liked to see them mature alongside Nick, rather than be able teleport in at a moments notice. A gamers description of them would be that they're majorly OP, but they fail in their duty almost incessantly. In addition, I couldn't help but think Sherilyn was preaching to the teenage population throughout the entire novel. Bull ...more

From stopping zombies from eating his classmates to learning that he will grow up to bring nothing but pain and misery to those he loves, 15 year old Nick Gautier can't seem to catch a break. Dark and ancient forces have begun to circle and if he doesn't learn to use his powers to defend himself soon, he'll be dead before he's old enough to go on his first date. Unfortunately for him, that's not his only problem. Vicious rumors about his fellow classmates start spreading around school and he nee ...more
