Grades 2-3
Habitats of Georgia and the animals that live there.
It’s a book that combines math and science in a fun rhythmical way. An enjoyable book to introduce different habitats. It allows the student a look inside a forest and the animals that live there. A great book for students to relate to because many of the animals mentioned in the story can be seen in their own backyard.

Set to the tune of "Over in the Meadow" the forest animals are portrayed doing what they actually do in the forest. Beautiful collage illustrations with wonderful additional information at the end including facts about the animals, tips from the author about observing nature and illustrating, music to "Over in the Meadow," and internet resources. A well presented book.
