Recommends it for: Everyone interested in post-war Chechnya
Interesting account after travel to Chechnya in 2009. Littel tells about enormous levels of corruption, state of dictatorship and how Russia deals (or actually doesn't deal) with it. Littel speaks with many people who are close to Ramzan Kadyrov, some of them tell their stories, why they changed their sides, it seems that most of them just wants to live and protect their families, because Kadyrov and his personal army stricltly destroys people who thinks differently, possible rivals and sometime ...more
