Book 7 of Tales of the Shareem. Will appear in print soon after ebook is published. Pub date is now Feb. 20.
Allyson James is one of my favorite authors and I read this series mainly due to that fact. I was a bit surprised that for an erotica style book it had a decent story line and that the overall plot followed through the series. This is a quick, easy read with a lot of sex, but htere is still a decent story and the characters are fleshed out enough to allow the reader to connect to them. It is by no means in the same catagory as her Stormwalker series or as her Shifter series (under her Jennifer A ...more

Most Traditional of the Series

JUSTIN is the sixth book in the Tales of the Shareem series. This series tells the stories of a group of genetically engineered men created as sex slaves but now freed but second class citizens on their home planet. The serious is erotic science fiction but this book is the most normal of the series because it does not have a menage scene. The sex is still pretty graphic for those who are sensitive to such things.

Justin was free on another planet for twenty five yea

This series started out on shaky ground for me, it wasn't that it had to much testosterone but where most stories took you I wasn't sure why the author always felt the need to go there.
But I've found that I really do like the characters and by this book I was disappointed that I didn't have another book to read... I really want to know if all will be well with the people I've grown to enjoy reading about. I hope she continues....

Came upon this series by accident and was really glad I did. Did not know that Allyson James was in fact Jennifer Ashley who also happens to write one of my other favorite series (The Mackenzie's). Having read all of the Tales of the Shareem (except for Eland which I can't find)I hope we see another entry in the series sooner rather than later - Just a good steamy read that makes you want to keep going back for more.

This is the 6th book in this series I've read and while I like the premise of it the similarity of every storyline and couple in the series so far is pushing me to skip segments of the story.

Shareem meets virgin woman. Insta-lust in both parties. Shareem convinces virgin to experiment with him. Lots of sex. Weak secondary storyline that keeps throwing them together until they have their HEA.

As I said, I love the premise, the setting, even the characters (sort of) but the conflict between the cha

This was definitely my favorite of the series. I loved both Justin and Deanna. There was a tiny bit of the Captain Save A Hoe mentality, but it was much better because they took care of each other in all ways and not just the Shareem taking care of the woman sexually and the woman taking care of the Shareem's mental/emotional/social issues.
Well, what now?? any other stories??!! I want to know how they get off planet.. but who else's story can we write.. Judith/Mitch... but they aren't Shareem.. and Sybellie.. well idk.
Overall, Justin is Yummy, but he's not my fav. Shareem.

Book 7 of Tales of the Shareem. Justin's story.

First off, I bought this on accident. Happy accident! I'm a huge Jennifer Ashley fan and I was looking into some of her other work.

I went into this not knowing what the heck a Shareem was... or knowing anything about this world. I have not read the first 6 (?) Shareem books (yet), but that didn't make this any harder to follow. In fact its well written (a given for the author) and explained well without being a tedious 'lesson'. I love when an author can take a sci-fi subject and make you feel
I really liked this one the most. This one was so heart felt. And Justin was so naughty. And Deanne did not get it in the rear like all the other females did. A real good read.

I hope in the future, Allyson James will continue this series, or come up with one close to this one. Maybe give Mitch and Judith their story.

For people interested in this series. This is sexual fantasy type read, not thought provoking read.
What would make you come back to a place where you are treated less than human? How can you find someone you had deep feelings for twenty five years ago. You need closure on some situations that happened back then. Yet you can't let anyone find out why I decided to come back to this hell hole. This is a story that is heartbreaking and will have you hoping for the best. Enjoy I did. This is a re-read for me.

Justin was free on another planet but came all the way to Bor Narga to look for a woman from his past whom holds a secret. But a feisty patroller, Deanna, is assigned to watch his every step. With Justin needing to do everything he can to protect his secret, he decides to show Deanna just what it is like to be a Shareem. Things get very hot and sweaty, and just when Justin thinks he has Deanna distracted she figures it out all on her own exactly why he came back to be basically a prisoner again ...more
I liked the heroine. She was great. Bit instalove though.
I have been a longtime fan of the Shareem books and I don't know how this one slipped by me. I really need to re-read the series.

Like many of them, this book was funny and heartbreaking. I really enjoyed meeting many of the couples/triples from previous books.

The only thing I didn't care for is when they switched dom/sub roles. I'm not comfortable with the male as the sub.

I will definitely keep a closer watch on this series to make sure I don't fall behind again.

This is a great story (much longer than I thought it would be) and a nice conclusion to all the Shareem stories. I love that Justin got to meet his daughter (as hinted in Braden) and managed to find another woman to love him. There were some particularly sweet moments between Justin and his daughter that I really liked (I won't give spoilers), but if you've loved the Shareem the whole way through, this story will not disappoint. :)
Same script, different cast.
The only difference with the previous installments is that this time there weren't helpful Shareem friends to show the heroine the joys of menage!
The Sybellie/Lillian subplot was developed quite good but it lacks closure in the end, as well as the much anticipated departure of the Shareems from Bor Narga.

I loved the dynamics of this story. Bringing in a father/daughter relationship was a great addition to these stories. If she doesnt write more about what happens and if the women end up pregnant i might go mental lol
Worth reading. It had a good plot but so much more could have been done with it The ending was cut short. The book was fast moving. It wasnt as good as the others in the series.
WOW, Not really my thing don't really read or like erotica but i was hooked from an excerpt I read. So awesome the blend for futuristic and barbaric ways and times, good stuff
Completely in love with the Tales of the Shareem series. It seems like it'll likely come to a climax in maybe the next book or two - the big escape :) can't wait.
I am such a huge fan of Allyson James "Shareem" books since I first read "Rees" and I was not dissapointed in "Justin" It was hot, firey, emotional, fantastic!!!
I loved Justin! He was heartbreaking and hot as hell! lol I can't wait for Allyson James to continue and am looking forward to reading her other series.
This was an okay book. Of course, I read them out of sequence, so that could be why I am not impressed.
I loved this series to pieces, I still want more and it's left open ended so I'm hoping for more.
