Amy Cahill has invited almost all of the children from the clue hunt to her half built mansion for a reunion and training weekend. She knows the Vespers are coming and they aren’t ready, they need to prepare and train. Except only Dan knows the Vespers exist and he and the other children have no interest in training. But when a Vesper assassin comes to visit will they change their minds? Will they even survive it?

Eleven Months after the Cue Hunt

Amy Cahill and her brother Dan are rebuilding their grandmother's estate, her mansion, with a few modifications: a command center for the coming battle between the Cahills and Vespers, a gym for training, and a multi-million dollar security system. it was a interesting good book. enjoy to those who are going to read it and i wont say anymore to spoil it.

This is what's frustrating me with the whole Cahill clan, they keep secrets to themselves even if it really needs to be shared so that everyone will be prepared. They all think that keeping secrets somehow would protect their loved ones...don't they know that every secret has its own way of surfacing when you least expected it and sometimes it creates more problems...

Very interesting and made me want even more! Man, this is one suspenseful story! This is held in Amy's POV and she's a little stronger than normal and I still love her character! She's amazing! This book was surprising!

Yes! I thought the original series really glossed over the topics covered in this book. The transition of a character seemed to just happen over night. I love having the back story for this!

Like the other books in this series, I read this book nonstop. This series is so interesting. I loved this book so much and I cannot wait to read the other books in this series.

It was a good book, shows Amy trying to train the rest of the Cahills to be ready for an attack and then there is an attack that she has to be ready for.
Nickie
This one was from Amy's point of view. She is trying to prepare the rest of the Cahill children for the Vesper attacks that await.

“Come on," she said, smiling for the first time since she'd stepped on the plane. "We need to get to the bus before Ian plugs his iPod into the speakers."
Dan shuddered. "I'd rather face a thousand Vespers than listen to Beethoven.”

“Ouch!" Amy yelped, causing Hamilton to release her. "Sorry," she said, smiling as she rubbed her shoulder. "I'm just a little sore."
Madison nodded gravely. "Smart peole books are pretty heavy.”
