I have my MBA and this book is a great reference source. Courses are taught in an MBA program in a way that feels like you are trying to drinking from a fire hydrant. There is so much information thrown at you that retention is at a minimum. You do not need an MBA to read or understand this book. Written for a broad audience with differing academic backgrounds.

This book is the best business school primer out there (although, there isn't much competition). Silbiger has brought the complexity of B-school courses down to a much more approachable level. However, when tackling this book, it helps if you have taken at least an introductory economics, finance, and accounting class. You will gain much more from the reading.

The best business book I have ever read! This book covers the essence of a MBA atthe world's top universities like Harvard and Stanford. Its content ranges from marketing to finance and even basic business law. Suitable for those wanting to pursue a MBA or even graduates who want to review what they have learnt in the fast-paced two year MBA course.

MBA in a nutshell !!
Who wouldn't want that?
The book is a masterpiece, providing the fundamentals of the MBA study in an easy way for readers with non-business study backgrounds.
A must have guide if you are willing to study to give you the main basics, or if you just like me want to know how things in business administration go.

Originally, I planned to pursue an MBA, but that changed over time. However, even if I don't plan an MBA anymore (I'm more geared towards pursuing an MA/PhD), this book is very useful to anyone who wants to understand business, is working, or is a business student, whether in college or grad school.
The chapters that I like in this books are Organizational Behavior, Marketing, and Quantitative Analysis.

This is was a good overview of business principles. The writing is clear and the explanations various concepts are decent. Does it take the place of an MBA- probably not, as mastery of the concepts generally comes from discussion and practical experience. I do think is a good review of some of the classes that I have taken.

This was a good book to read, definately as a refresher to business school. The concepts they cover may seem a bit foreign to those outside the business world, or without a business degree, but would likely be helpful if you were going for your MBA.
