This is an excellent book for people wanting to learn a little bit about a great many breeds of dogs. There are more than 400 breeds listed, many unknown outside of their origin countries, and all accompanied by color photo(s) as well as a brief description on personality, as well as the requirements for socialization, grooming, exercise needs and ease of training. There are short chapters in the back of the book about general training, food needs, how to travel with your dog and raising a puppy...more

A really good informative book about dog breeds! It's colourful and full of great photos. The book definitely has a sleek look to it, and appealing to the eye. A book you would flip through, and packed with info on not only dogs, but on care and so forth. Great book!!
