Lana has lived her life in her cousin’s shadow. Ashton always made perfect grades, had tons of friends, and looks model-perfect. And she’s always had Sawyer Vincent—the only boy Lana’s ever wanted—wrapped around her finger. B...more

Sawyer has always been the one for Lana. Ever since they were childhood playmates, it was always Sawyer and Lana against Beau and Ash. When Beau and Ash would torment her, Sawyer would come to Lana's rescue. She's nursed a long-time crush and had to watch Ash and Sawyer together for three years, knowing Ash didn't fully appreciate him. Sawyer's always been the right Vincent Boy in her mind. Now that things are over between Ash and Sawyer, Lana visits, hoping to finally catch Sawyer's eye.

After speaking with some friends, I decided to come back and revise some of my extreme ranting and raise my rating to a solid 3 star. I thought this finally might have been the book from Glines that would get me to go up to a 4 star rating but *insert fist shake at the heavens* the last 75 pages or so...sigh. No go.

Important things first. These covers make me want lots and lots of candy, specifically caramel apple pops because this new lollipop looks like a green apple. I don't recall there bein...more

I have to say it. I sorta felt like I was cheating on Beau when I started reading this book. I fell in love with Beau in the Vincent Boys, and I loved his hot bad/good boy ways. But now, if I had to choose, it would be a difficult decision. Sawyer was really sweet, but rather dull in the first book. But oh my, not in this one. He got flustered and jealous. His chemistry with Lana was smoking hot. Guess it just goes to show you what the right woman can do for a man. And Abbi shows us Sawyer in a...more

My conclusion after finishing this book: My most favorite of all Abbi Glines books!!! I loved this! I love Sawyer, I love Lana, I love Beau and Ash, I love the ending. In short I love every-freaking-thing. I laughed, cried, swooned and swooned and swooned and yeah, definitely swooned.

Abbi Glines's books give off this feeling that get me this sh*t-eating grin on my face that never got off even after I finished the book and had me giddy the entire time. And yes, The Vincent Brothers did...more

From my newest critique partner Abbi. For those of you into alpha's you're going to LOVE this. Abbie delivers from the very beginning and continued through the very end. Sawyer is one hot sexy alpha through and through and my goodness I did not think I could fall any more in love with Beau than I had in The Vincent Boys but *sigh*. (view spoiler) Ya'll are in for a big treat. Great job, Abbi!
Okay, so this was one of my most highly anticipated books for the year, and I'm SO glad it's finally out!! Vincent Boys was one of my all-time favorite stories, I fell in love with Beau and just couldn't get enough of him and Ash!! I wasn't sure how I'd feel with the sequel because I knew it was Sawyer's story. It must be a very daunting task for a writer to take a character that you purposefully made somewhat 'expendable' relationship-wise in one book to suddenly be a heartthrob in the sequel....more
I mean... come on.... did we expect anything less than FIVE stars?!?!

If you did...well, clearly you haven’t read the first book, The Vincent Boys. And clearly, you haven’t discovered the yumminess that is... Vincent Boys..

Like a druggie that needed a fix, I waited impatiently for this book. I took any teaser, tidbit, info on this book and absorbed it like a freakin’ sponge.
But today... all was well in BookUniverse because Ms.Glines released The Vincent Brothers.

Every thing in life, happens for a reason. Some things fall apart, so better things can fall together.

Meet Sawyer Vincent:

He use to be the towns golden boy, sweet, polite, considerate of everyone, but once Beau and Ashton started dating he began to change. Now he's turning into the wild child, with buckets full of sex appeal.

Meet Lana McDaniels:

The last time we saw her she was prim, proper and soft spoken. Now she's redid herself from the boring girl who was easily for...more

4 Stars!

Another fun and dramatic journey into the lives of those sexy Vincent boys. Once again, the perspectives alternate between the two main characters and I really enjoyed this aspect of the story. Abbi's signature moves were all intact: bad boy with a good heart, plenty of drama, easy-to-love characters, and some smoking hot chemistry! I did enjoy this installment, however, it didn't quite approach my intense love of the first book.

The Vincent Brothers continues with its focus on Sawyer an...more
Ugh. I couldn't care less about either of the couples and the main characters are so irritatingly juvenile, I had to force myself to finish this.
Abbi Glines is a literary rock star and I'm soooo glad she gifts us with these amazing heart-wrenching, swooth-inducing, heart-racing, mind-numbing, skin-tingling stories. And not just one book but all of them fall under that description!!! So if you haven't read all of them yet. You're missing out!!!

Synopsis: Sawyer Vincent is still heartbroken over his breakup with Ashton Grey. Things are made even worse by the fact that he lost his girl to his brother, and now the pair are ridiculously happy while he's all alone. But Lana McDaniel thinks she might just have a cure. Lana's lived in her cousin Ashton's shadow all her life, but now she's taking the lead and is determined to make Sawyer her man. I strongly disliked the first in the series and I felt maybe I was just too old for the YA drama but I actually really liked this one. Such a sweet epilogue and Lana was a sweet little cutie pie. Remember those day of wanting someone but he was mooning over someone else. (ahhh, those days;p) Now, Sawyer had me all over the place. Loved him one moment then despised him for using poor Lana. He was upside down, topsy turvy, then up, then sideways, and I finally loved him. Whew! Abbi Glines...more

Uncut & Extended version

This book was about Sawyer and Lana

Lana has loved Sawyer since they were kids. "Sawyer was always the Vincent boy worth fight for. He's the special one."

This is the conclusion to the Vincent Boy's story. The first book had more steam than this books. The first book is still my favorite of the two books.

No cliffhanger. Spinoff
It’s over, I’m so sad! :( I’m going to miss the amazing Vincent Boys. I wasn’t sure if I would like The Vincent Brothers, since it was Lana and Sawyers story. I loved it! Who knew Sawyer had a little bad boy in him? There were a couple of yummy Sawyer scenes I needed an industrial fan to cool myself off with. :) I always thought Sawyer and Lana would be perfect for each other and they are. I’m REALLY going to miss this series and these characters. Also the epilogue was perfect!

Nothing particularly wrong with this book other than it's too Young Adult and cliched for me. If you like the Young Adult genre you'll probably enjoy this story.

My review can also be found on my blog Collections.

I have to admit that The Vincent Boys novels weren't on my radar of books I desperately needed to read. But then I got my hands on copies of both and decided, Why not? They weren't long, and I was in the mood for something quick to read. It took me about 80 pages to finally get hooked into the first book The Vincent Boys. Once that happened I couldn't stop reading, and it ended up being a fun and enjoyable read for me. I was pleasantly surprised...more
I give this one 2.75 stars... Let's be honest here. I've said it before and I'll probably say it again: Abbi Glines has reached a height where she could write a book about a crackhead taking a dump in an alley and we would gobble that shit right up!!! *Lovely Visual Right?* It's true though. Abbi Glines books are like mashed potatoes. It's something you know which makes it comforting. It's going to fill you up. You don't have to worry about it upsetting your stomach and it's always tasty.

Another great one from Abbie Glines. This book was more slow and sweet, while The Vincent Boys was angsty and hot. It goes to show the difference between the Vincent brothers.

Sawyer and Lana's relationship still moved really fast though. Once I realized Lana had a plan for winning Sawyer, I thought she would at least have to work at it a bit. But nope. They had an instant and irresistible attraction. And this book still had some hot scenes, but there was always that sense of innocence and discov...more
I was already in love with Beau after The Vincent Boys but Abbi Glines has now made me love Sawyer too. Beau may always be my first and true love when it comes to the Vincent Brothers but Sawyer, you are right up there with him!

On of the things I love about this series is how close it feels to home. I grew up on a farm in Iowa and in high school, we had field parties, swam in ponds and lakes and went camping, wore cowboy boots and made out on the bed of pickups. Glines brings me back in time! I...more

I want to do this book justice with my review because I absolutely loved it. Congratulations, Abbi Glines - your Vincent Boys have stolen my heart, again.

There were so many things I loved about the book that I'm just going to list them.

1. Beau was back. And hot as ever.
2. I saw a whole new side of Sawyer that I fell in love with.
3. Romantic, funny, & steamy all in one! ;)
4. I loved Lana - strong, amazing person, who I just wanted so badly to get her HEA.
5. Fast-paced - unputdownable!

Sigh.... I don't even know how to write this review, y'all. I mean, I am a pool of goo. If you know me very well, you know I am a huge fan of Abbi Glines' books. Huge. I loved THE VINCENT BOYS and when Abbi told me she was writing another Vincent boys book, I'm pretty sure my squeals were heard miles away.

The number one thought I had when I started reading the book was, "Can Sawyer carry a book as well as Beau?". Beau Vincent, he's a tough act to follow. Beau and Sawyer are opposites in every w...more

My critique partner's new book! In this sequel to The Vincent Boys, Sawyer Vincent is still smarting from losing Ashton to his brother, Beau. Enter Ashton's cousin Lana, who's had a thing for Sawyer since they were all children. Now all she has to do is get his attention away from the girl he's loved all of his life...
Who would of thought that sensitive and all round nice guy Sawyer would turn out to be irresistibly sexy and so damn appealing. He definitely puts meaning into "good guy turned bad" RAWR! I was panting and had to constantly hide myself under the covers away from my husbands eyes, as I felt myself flushing very often while reading the many scenes told from both Sawyers and Lana's POV's. It was exhilarating, and intoxicating, and heated, and steamy, and passionate, and tender, and sweet, and beaut...more
Joy (joyous reads)
Truth be told, I have the Kindle copy of this book when it was still a self-pubbed gem. I just put off reading it just because I wasn't too keen on Sawyer to begin with. Yesterday, on my bookstore jaunt, I saw this new cover and couldn't resist the hotness. It took me a little over four hours to finish. I wish there are more books like these - the kind that had me so hooked it literally kept me reading until one in the morning.

We start off with sweet, innocent, shy, and mousy Lana. Lana has decided that she is done taking a backseat role in her life. She sets out to make a change. Returning to Grove to stay with Ashton for the summer she has plans to finally win over the man who has held her heart since she was a little kid, Sawyer.
