I won this book, it was free from Goodreads Giveaways. It felt strange to be reading a Christmas season story while witnessing Spring taking roots! But since I'm a big fan of Christmas and everything that goes along with it (ok, I admit it I'm a kid at heart), it wasn't hard for me to get in the mood (or the spirit).

Although RUSH is a short novel,it was a delight to read. This would be a great book to reread every Christmas to remind us that Christmas is about more than just gifts. It gives new insight into how total strangers who are in a dangerous situation can pull together to survive. Although the book is about a serious subject, surviving a blizzard, it is written with some comedy thrown in. You can get teary eyed one minute, and laugh out loud the next.
