This book was different in it's plot line than most supernatural books. It varied from the usual vampires, werewolves, and ghosts. It instead used a mysterious "shadow" as the culprit for the bad goings on in the small town. I liked the plot and the book was very well written, as far as it being easy to read and understand. I did think, though, that the plot had a few slower points in it that could have been a bit faster. The characters were great though and very well developed. I came to really ...more

Recommends it for: Stephen King and Dean Koontz fans
I love the idea of a book that marries modern technology with ancient, occult ideas. My idea of a good horror is not a slasher, but one that makes you look under the bed before you go to sleep, and that's exactly what this book is!

I've scared myself writing it, and I hope to give readers a good scare too!
