Good, solid content, mostly from articles that have run in The Freeman. I am delighted to have this addition to my son's American history materials for next year. A few things would make it even better--better formatting (for some reason there are dozens of words hyphenated as though for line-breaks--but not at the end of a line) and an index or chronological listing of articles (had to do this myself.)

Burton W. Folsom, Jr. (born 1947 in Nebraska) is an American historian and author who holds the Charles F. Kline chair in history and management at Hillsdale College and is a senior fellow in economic education for the Mackinac Center for Public Policy.
