I love Derek egging Steven on, so funny. Cody and Steven are adorable. Wonderful little follow up.
While I loved the first short story, I am not feeling this one quite as much. Again, I love the concept of the roommate (Derek) daring the other, (Steven) to tell their boyfriend (Cory) "I love you" in order to try to break out of the shell. What seemed off to me was Derek himself. In the first book, he is encouraging Steven and Cory to get together. In this book, he is encouraging Steven to say "I love you" because he knows how much he cares for him. And then when the opportunity arises, Derek...more

Cory still appears a bit later in the story -- and now I'm DYING to know what's up with Derek. Can he have his own story now that Steven and Cory has their happy ending? This is still a lovely and enjoyable short. I love how Steven is worried about saying "I love you" to Cory and ends up blurting it out anyway. Oh, he's just adorable! So yeah, if only Derek doesn't acting strange in the last part of the story, this can get a 4-star rating.

If not for the Derek issue left unresolved it would be a 5 star read. I so wanted to know what was going on with Steven's roommate. I do hope there will be more!

A short and sweet, free holiday story, along the coming home for the holidays theme.
Its coming up to christmas and new year, Steven's new boyfriend is in Prague. Steven's best friend Derek dRes him to tell Corey he loves him. When Corey gets back ealy, on NYE, will he say those words!

Nothing new in Steven/Cory front, but Derek's behaviors leave us wondering if he has a thing for his best friend. Thankfully, the author didn't go to the easy route (like make them involved in a menage or something).
3.5 stars. Sweet short m/m New Year's Eve romance in which Steven needs to decide whether or not to take his roommate's dare and tell Cory he loves him...
