This is my first experience with the NLT, and I absolutely loved it. I normally study in the ESV, but I have found this version extremely readable. The chronological format breaks up some of the sections that are difficult to get through, and makes the journey of reading the Bible through much easier.

Again, I'm not going to give the Bible stars. I just can't. (though I think I did two years ago, oops!)

Reading this day in and day out regardless of how I feel or whether I want to or not has shown be that the word of God truly is living and speaks to my messy, boring, daily life.

My first time through the Bible cover to cover chronologically! Love that my children were involved in the readings as well, as we read at bedtime. Plan to continue doing this every year!
John
The most incredible literature I have ever read. I am beginning to read it again today.
Don Williams
This was an interesting way to read the Bible. I like the NLT.

I have trying to read through the entire bible for years and have tried several different "plans". It wasn't until I received this one that I was successful. It reads like a history book. By putting it in chronological order it made more sense and was easier to follow-especially in the New Living Translation. For anyone who has wanted to read through the bible but has been unsuccessful I highly recommend this!

I have really been enjoying this. It puts the perspective of the Bible in such clearness. I love seeing when everything took place and how it all fit together. I'm still reading it and love it.

A part of my daily devotions. I read it year after year. Read it again in 2012.
