Blood is thicker than water in “BaSatai: Outside In”.

Armani’s blood is cursed and because of this is the prime target for deadly enemies. Her character is very strong willed and stubborn she doesn’t sit back and allow the curse to take over her life. She is definitely one of the more interesting characters I have come across. I liked hearing her point of view and how she handled the sticky situations that came with having cursed blood.

There are many, many things going through my head about this one. The story itself is good. It's interesting, it's full of emotions, and I didn't leave regretting that I read the book. Those are all major pluses.

But there are a few things that bothered me about this book as a whole.

1. Prologues are tricky things.
In fact, it seems that most of what bothered me about this book lies in the prologue. On the whole, it seems to me that this was the kind of book that More...

Going into reading this book, I knew it was going to be different! Just by the title of the book. I didn't expect to enjoy this book as much as I did! It was amazing and it was written in a way like it was made for me to read it. Lol If that makes any sense whatsoever! I loved the characters and I loved the whole storyline. It was just so different.

It's so hard to give a review of this book without giving away any spoilers. But I'll try....

Okay. Armani is a girl who is believ More...

When I first started this book I was really excited about how interesting the storyline was. As you can see from the synopsis Suzan Battah has created a very different and completely original world. For this she gets an A+ I really liked how she broke down the different alien words into hierarchies with distinct names and unique features. The new entities and worlds she creates are very well thought out different from things I've read in the past.

I liked the main character Amani, alt More...

OK I can't wait for the next book!!!! I need to know what happens!!

I had a very hard time putting this book down. The twist in this book totally took me by surprise. I also was crying near the end. The friendships in this book grew very well and I hope they keep growing.

This book may not be out as of yet but I would recommend it as a must read when it comes out.
