Overall, this is an easy read, and for the most part is enjoyable. Nicole stands by her husband without much complaint when he decides to get a job out of state and uproot them from their lives. But then, his job starts to take over, and he starts to ignore her completely. He becomes cold, and even mean as he only focuses on work.

I loved this book for one simple reason - Grace Wen wrote about my life.

No, not my life now. And some of it wasn't the same - I never actually fell in love with anyone other than my ex while we were married. Or had an affair. In fact, he was the one who had the affair.

An Imperfect Wife is a Novella about one of the biggest issues in a marriage.....How to keep your marriage going even through extreme changes and hard bumps. Characters with problems in their relationship which you could understand and sympathise with. I enjoyed it very much. The story drew me in from the beginning and the plot kept me guessing until the last page. Then I wanted more.
