From Lilac Wolf and Stuff

Lots and lots of steamy love-making and a strong plot...can't really ask for more in an erotic novel, can you?

I really don't want to give much away. Cat is a strong female lead, even though she is in way out of her depth. Rio is a werewolf who knows she is his "mate" the moment he smells her. That means he is bound to her, only she doesn't know that is what is going on. Did I mention she is really pregnant? So she walks in on Rio and his werewolf friend in a diner. Rio t...more

Wow, what an interesting twist on …everything! Rio is werewolf. A hot, built, sexy, lethal mercenary werewolf. He’s a loner, in a big huge way. There are plenty of stories about Rio and the kills he’s done for money. Rio is someone to be reckoned with. You don’t mess with Rio. So when he is in his friend’s diner having a cup of coffee, and obviously an obviously distressed woman named Cat comes in, he takes notice. And when some goons who work for drug lord Alvarez come in looking for her, he ta...more

Cat Watson is running from a sadistic drug dealer. Rio Wolff, a bad-ass mercenary killer saves her and takes her home where he and his brother Creed claim her as their mate Cat just has to survive escaping from a drug lord, having a baby, and having two werewolves decide who gets to keep her to have her happy ever after ending.

Liked this book. Really liked it. For a paranormal erotic read it had quirky twists, juicy scenes, and hot alpha men along with an engaging story line that delivered.

Well written book BUT.....it felt like the author couldn't decide what genre this book was meant to be. Yes there are werewolves and vampires but it seems like such a side note. It isn't an integral part of the book at all. In fact none of the 'themes' settle and I was left floundering and feeling unbelievable unfulfilled.

We don't even really get to know the characters because the author was so unsettled with the theme.

I've deleted the book off my kindle and wont be reading it again.

This was great. Loved the storyline. Werewolves, Vamps, and a Drug Lord! I saw the development of a relationship, was not rushed. There was action, mayhem, romance, love, hot sex, and definitely humor. I was hoping this would be a series, would have liked to see more of the characters. Like Draco and Lucy. But sadly I don't see anything happening with this author. This was a great first book. After two horrible reads, this was a pleasant surprise.

I was surprised by this book. For a book in this category, it was pretty good. I liked it and found it a quick read with a reasonably cohesive shifter/menage story line.

I liked it, but there were small things that irritated me enough to not give it a 3.
