Radar Love is very fast paced, in the most delightful way! The only time I was able to put this book down was for bed about 40% through the book because it was 3am in the morning! Niether predictable or boring for a single minute, Radar Love will be a book you won’t be able to put down- especially if you love rather unconventional love stories.

There’s nothing I enjoy more than reading a book that is completely unlike something I’ve read before. Unfortunately, this often leaves me unsatisfied and

I've never read a book quite like Radar Love before, and that's one of the things I like about it. The two main characters in this story are criminals but they are written in such a way that it's impossible not to root for them. The author created smart and likable characters and dropped them in an interesting setting to make one of the most non-traditional love stories I've ever read! This novel is also very original and unpredictable--every chapter was a surprise.

Janique and Chris are two peop

Shelves: crazy-love
Their story was crazy and disjointed and highly dysfunctional. However, so were the main characters, Chris and Janique, and that is precisely what made this such an interesting read. Their crazy-love Bonnie and Clyde romance adventures reminded me a little of "Natural Born Killers", just slightly less heinous and depraved. Just like Bonnie and Clyde or Mickey and Mallory, by the time the book is done, you find yourself rooting for the bad guys and hoping they get away. Chris and Janique are both ...more

I must say, I felt a little weird reading some of the scenes in this book. Scenes with some rough sex that had nothing to do with the Danielle Steele I read as a kid.
I wasn’t sure I was going to like this book . I kept an open mind, and what I found was a very, well ,written story about two young people in love. Chris finds Janique working at a fast food joint, and pulls her through the servi

This was another winner novel by Jason Z Christie. And again, was in a completely different genre than his previous titles I've read. The love that Chris and Jonnie share is unreal. Nothing can come between the two of them. Including prison walls! These two reminded me of modern day Mickey and Mallory from the movie Natural Born Killers. Since this was a romance story there was a lot less comedic remarks. Which is why I only rated it four stars instead of five. I miss those zingers from his ...more

This book was just ok for me. It took a while for me to finally get into it & then just as it was really getting good, it was over. Chris & Janique have fallen in love even though she is rich and he is total blue collar. They see each other behind her parents back. When finally they run away together. Drugs, sex, robbery & murder finally catch up to them & land them both in jail. Chris has a plan but will it work...

I hate to be a party pooper, but I didn't like it. I made a valiant effort to give the benefit of the doubt and hang in there, but at 50% on my kindle I just couldn't do it anymore. I received RL for free; but it really sounded like something I would like. I was anticipating a fun, quirky and irrerevent read - and it did have some humerous (politically incorrect and irreverrent) moments; "glossing over the holocaust" comes to mind.

Ultimately I had 2 problems with the story; the writing style an
