Katherine has had a hard time finding work, mostly because she’s a vampire. Turns out, people aren’t clamoring to work with the undead. She goes to the massive theme park, Notte Oscura, as a last resort. What Katherine doesn’t realize is, there’s a lot more waiting for her than just a job.

This novel reminds me of when I hang out with friends from Hawick and Selkirk because the way Katherine and the guys act around each other is just how me and friends are! I loved it so much. I couldn't figure out what Frank was, it just stuck on it. I thought to myself 'What the hell is he? He's not a vampire. He could be a demon or a shifter or a were or maybe he could be a hybrid? He's not a wizard or a warlock.' I've read so many paranormal novels to know 80% of all supernatural folk out thei...more

I received this story from the author for free, her only request was that whether good or bad that I give a review. This is my first book from Tracey H. Kitts, it will not be my last. As I was reading this it made me think of an adult version of Beauty and the Beast except now it's an erotica Vampire and the Beast novella.
Katherine is a vampire who can't find a job because no one wants to hire an "undead", so with just enough money to buy a drink of blood she goes into in the huge, Vampire Club...more

I loved this book! Was it this deep thought provoking story that will change the world? No and that is exactly why I loved it. To be honest, at first I was wondering if the premise was too silly. A theme park for weres/vamps etc seemed kind of silly, but it was surprisingly not at all what thought it would be like. The characters we so stinkin' fun and I could not put this book down.

I'll tell you what I liked about it:

* Frank! I loved that he was something new and different. It feels like every...more

This is one of those books where I was expecting to be entertained (naturally. I don't read books that I don't think will entertain me) and I ended up really, really enjoying it. More than I thought I would. Don't you love that?

While the romance angle moved quickly, I liked the way the characters interacted and thought that the ease in which they fell into a relationship worked nicely. And it wasn't just Frank and Katherine that I liked. I loved the entire ensemble. All those background people m...more

Frank and The Werewolf Tamer by Tracey H. Kitts
Katherine has been a vampire for almost two years. Turned against her will by some unknown assailant. Out of a job and about to be tossed from her apartment she heads to Notte Oscura, a unique theme park type area where paranormals are….normal. Heading for the Midnight Jamboree nightclub where she can get some blood she first meets an odd man who offers her money to be a spy and then she is stopped dead in her tracks by the handsome man on stage. A...more

5***** What good fun. This is certainly a romance with a difference. Katherine is offered work in a paranormal theme park. There are so many great characters in this book. I hope its the start of a series. Frank is so very different from most paranormals. I can't tell you what because it would spoil the story. Sexy storyline. What a strange way Katherine fights. Brings a whole new meaning to fighting dirty. Loved it off to look for more.

I loved the quirky writing style and finished this story in one sitting. Some may say parts are cliche and predictable, but I enjoyed it 100% just the same. :D

I write what I enjoy in the hopes that others will enjoy it as well. I've always been drawn to the macabre. Vampires, werewolves, you name it.

I've never written about the paranormal because it's popular. I do it because that's what I'm interested in. If the vampire fad ever passes, I'll still be sitting here in my Dracula cape, getting my fang on.
