Superb Love Story from 15th century Scotland!
Ever wonder what a 5 star historical romance looks like with no love scenes? Well, this is it! Oh there’s lots of kissing and wooing but we’re not shown into the bedroom when the action happens. This is one of my all time favorites! Cameron-The Dreaded Earl of Death- is one of those lovable, sexy, strong heroes that you can't help but love. Kate is feisty and a very likable character.

More love and politics in the ancient Scotland.
After reading ‘the Kindling Heart’ I had great expectations, and ‘The Bedeviled Heart’ certainly did not disappoint me.
This time the story took place in the Borderlands, rather than in the Highlands, in the court of King James - a fascinating place, judging by this novel.
The politics and the undercurrents made me turn the pages on and on, reading for hours.

There has to be something about a book for me to write a review. What I liked most about The Bedeviled Heart is it gave me more than I expected. The depth of the story was refreshing. I am ok with the normal twists and turns of a romantic story, even if I know what is probably coming next. But I found this book surprised me by going a bit further. Great job! I have loved both heroes so far and I have no doubt Julian's story will not disappoint as he will have some surprises for us, I am sure.
This is a historical romance and very good! I was a little worried that there would be scenes that were too spicy, but she skipped them nicely. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forwarded to reading book one in this series and book 3! lol leave it to me to find book 2 first. but they can stand alone.
I loved reading this story that takes place in Scotland that took me right to the castles and places I have been. The scenery was described beautifully. Mix that with Medieval court adventure (during King James time) and a GREAT romance and you have a delightful escape! There is a book 3 and 4 coming!!
A really good light medieval romance with plenty of cheeky humor and intrigue. Great H/h! Steam level mild (fade to black only) but the tension and romance high. It was fun watching them fall in love around their misguided notions and beliefs of curses. 4.5 stars
Love the second book inthe series! This was a wonderful story with great characters and more history of scottish monarchs.
Much better than the first book. I really liked it. Ki d of unbelievable that a grown earl was a virgin, but still great.
Sometimes, someone sends you a book, and it is free, and you think "this could be fun." But it is not.
I liked this book better than the first one. Kate is a fun character, and she's perfect for Cameron.

good book, can't wait for the next one.
Halfway through, it started being too-heavily about royal intrigue to keep my interest. It wasn't badly written… just not fun for me.
