Can Job is a cleverly-written, plot-driven tale; anyone who has worked for a large company will relate to this story and its characters. This is an enjoyable spoof about corporate mentality, buck passing, and the almighty dollar chase at any cost.
Kirsten Mortensen knows her subject well and it shows. This is an immensely readable story, and I had to keep reading to see how it ended. I look forward to more fiction by this indie author.

This was an entertaining book with the flavor of "The Office". Loved all the interesting characters and their names (like Rocco Pinochocco)and felt like I was a co-worker. Just took me a couple of nights to read and was very light-hearted and fun.

I received this book as a First Reads copy from Goodreads.

A wonderful, funny workplace comedy and satire of corporate culture, not to mention a sweet romance. I can't improve on this review: http://uncouthreflections.wordpress.c...

Hi there! I am an avid reader and a professional writer. I've written three novels: "Loose Dogs" (unconventional romance; thrilling twist), "Can Job" (Like your job. Only funny.) and "When Libby Met the Fairies" (romance with wee folk looking on).

I also love to golf, and I adore dogs -- especially my rescue beagle-lab mix, Tessa.

Please feel free to friend me. I love to talk books!
