A woman awakes from a car accident with no memory of who she is. The handsome detective who finds her names her "Rose." In a very short period of time, it's obvious someone tried to kill her and when they didn't succeed, they tried again. Detective Nate Stone moves her to a safe house, but the biggest danger for him is not the killer, but what Rose is doing to his heart.

Protecting Rose has it all. Love, danger, action, snappy dialog and a well developed story and characters. Kudos to Cheryl Yeko...more

OMG! Best "dirty" romance novel I've read in a while! Honestly, it reads like I'm watching an action-packed thriller mystery movie. Book starts off fast & keeps going without losing momentum. The core story may have been done before...cop falls in love with the woman he's protecting but it's still a GREAT book! 5 stars!

There was nothing bad about this one, but nothing really that stood out about it either. It was a pretty standard cop falls in love with the girl he is protecting story. There was some nice action, some nice romantic scenes and the bad guy gets caught in the end. I liked the hero and heroine a lot and was glad to see them become a couple.

Protecting Rose embraces all the reasons we read romance novels. The Characters are believable with simmering sexual tension along with a powerful storyline that keeps us reading from chapter to chapter as the story unfolds. High action with scintillating twists and turns right up to the end.

Have a very good blend of suspense and romance. Nate and Rose forged a bond that was both sensual and heartfelt. Nate doing everything in his power to protect her from the people out to kill her, while trying to help her regain her memory.

This book was frustrating because of the plot holes. They were really big. It definitely reminded me of books I read in the 80's and 90's. Except with more sex references.
