When you love someone so deeply does that feeling ever really go away? Even when you can’t be with that person when love maybe just isn’t enough, does it still continue to grow and if that person called you out of the blue some years later needing help, would you go? For Caroline the answer is yes because for Reid she’d go through hell it’s self to help him and she might have to.

This was an easy to read story that grabbed my interest from the beginning. It was about lost and reunited love and second chances as well as the bonds of family and was set in a small town that could have been anywhere. There were some chuckles, tension filled moments, love and lots of romance - some of it steamy at times. I enjoyed the give and take between the characters especially between Reid and Caroline but also between Reid and Ross. It was...more

This book isn’t going to be for everyone because the real beauty of the story is the back plot otherwise this might be too simple for some. While I liked the main plot and thought the author did a good job of holding up the suspense and mystery it didn’t compare to the secondary message that she was pushing. It’s a sweet romance that really goes in-depth about love. It makes you think about, can your first love be the person that’s actu...more

This is the kind of down home, close to reality love story that I like to read. These are ordinary people, not billionaries, royalty, movie stars or other rich and famous. I enjoyed how the small town is described and how the people interact together, not just the couple, Reid and Caroline, but everyone involved.

I can't imagine a world without stories. I started making them up before I was old enough to write them down and my parents read to me. Once I could read myself, I set off on a journey that has never ended. I've been author since 2010 when my first title with Evernight Publishing debuted. Since then, I've had many more.

I also publish with Champagne Books and Astraea Press.

I'm a member of the Roman...more
