Life can change in a heartbeat. It can also make you reevaluate. Jessa Bell was doing just that. She'd been through the ringer in the last few weeks and it wasn't getting better. Lying in her hospital bed watching the story of how her ex-lover tried to kill her and did kill himself, she realized something had to change. Right then she asked to speak to the hospital chaplain. Jessa knew change would be hard, but she was no stranger to facing hard facts. With her friends, ex-friends, shunning her...more

The Scarlet Mistress

Jessa Bell’s story has been in the local news for weeks. When a chance to tell her story nationally comes along, Jessa sees this as an opportunity to finally tell the entire story. Sure she slept with another woman’s husband, destroyed a marriage, alienated friends, and rocked a community, but she wasn’t alone. Now that her lover is dead, she is the one being persecuted, alienated and ridiculed. Would it ever end?

Despite the naysayers, Jessa is trying to build a bond with God...more

The saga continues....

Jessa Bell destroyed friendships and lives with her cryptic text message about having an affair. Now that her married lover is deceased and Jessa has suffered a near death experience, she wants to come clean. Jessa wants forgiveness from God and her former friends, but that will be easier said than done. The Richmond Hills community is once again the center of media attention and Jessa finds herself in the middle. Will Jessa be able to live a "normal" life after all of the...more

3.5 Star Rating......This one fell short to me not as good as the second one not as bad as the first one...With that being said Jessa Bell was trying to redem herself and find God, which at times things didn't look to good for Jessa. For a brief moment I was wishing for the ladies to find a way to rekindle their friendship but then I don't think there was no coming back from some of the things Jessa did....so some things were better left alone.....

I see that choke hold didn't kill Jessa triffling butt. Ok I'm finished reading the book. I tell you that Jessa is something else, but after finding out some disturbing things from her past, I can see why she carried certain feelings. Her behavior was still funky though. LOL The ending was surprising as well. I enjoyed this book. SN: sometimes it's hard submitting a review without telling to much.

I liked this book, one of the only books that talks about the issues of the woman always gets the blame. If she is wife that has an affair she is the slut and whore, if she is the mistress then again she is the whore. INever the man that gets the blame in the social setting. In fact there is not even a word to describe the male version of a mistress.

I liked the book

As a new author to me I like her. Unfortunately this is the 3rd in a trilogy, so now I have to go back and read the first two. Quite a few grammatical errors in this edition which I never understand. Overall the premise was good and a very interesting look in the PR industry and managing someone's 15-minutes of fame.

Read this for my bookclub (and also because I'm nosy and want to see what happens next to the characters). Jessa is a trip for real, but after finding out more about her upbringing (more and more skeletons keep jumping from her closet!) you can kinda sympathize with her....naaah, maybe not!

I liked this book much better than I thought I would. I hated the first one only because it left you hanging. I refused to read the second one. Only read this one because it was a book club read. But the story line was engaging and I found myself really hoping the main character would get a break. Not a bad read for the summer.

This book was probally more like 4.5 stars. In part three of the Mistress series, we learn more about Jessa Bell and how she became the person she is. After learning about her childhood, I wanted to feel sorry for her, but her actions just would not allow me to do so. I was a little disappointed with the book because I just do not feel that Jessa got what she truly deserved.

LOVE IT JESSA RESPONDED HAS ANY MOTHER WOULD IF UR BACK IS AGAINST THE WALL.. WHAT HAPPEN TO JESSA AS A CHILD WAS HORRIBLE I FOUND MYSELF ROOTING FOR HER BECAUSE JESSA S A PRIM EXAMPLE OF A REPENTANT PERSON WHO WANTS TO CHANGE AND DO GOOD.
Valerie
The third part of the series was just okay. The majority of the book was about the mistress and what she wanted to do with the rest of her life.

I didn't get engaged with the story until the end, but I kept going in order to finish the series.
Rachel
Good end to this Mistress series. Jessa did not escape the repurcussions of her actions. She ended up turning her mistakes into a business. Hated the way Eric's parents acted.

I won this book from Goodreads first reads. This is not my style of book and didn't keep my interest. I would add to say that even if I don't like it, everyone is different and every reader has their own taste and might love the book, it just wasn't for me.

Jessa is off the chain. I can't believe that after all of that, she still came out on top.

Pretty good sequel... Jessa Bell receives what she deserves in this book. Karma is a B****! However, in the end as always things turn out for the best.
Natasha
I liked that this book took a different focus, because I couldn't imagine another affair amongst this group of friends and foes. I enjoyed getting a deeper look into Jessa Bell's life and seeing where her imperfections could stem from. It was also crazy how she built a business off of her near death mistress experience. Not a lot of focus on the other ladies, I would've liked to get a few more updates on their lives but the main events were highlighted I suppose. I enjoyed the 2nd story in this...more

I'm not sure if we really need to learn Jessa Bell's story. This book was not as exciting as the first two. Mistress No More was my favorite book in the series. This story was boring and it dragged. I did not care about Jessa Bell. All the secrets revealed just felt flat.

Monique
That Jessa Logan Bell is a mess and her life has always been full of drama. If you've read the two prior books this one won't disappoint. I wanted more from the other ladies and more details from Jessa's prior life but still a great read.

The third installment in the Mistress series was an entertaining read.
