I discovered ‘Sticky Wicket’ by Malcolm Speed during one of my random browsing sessions at the bookshop. Malcolm Speed was one of the controversial CEOs of the ICC (International Cricket Council) and he wasn’t liked even in his own country – Australia. I can't imagine any serious cricket fan who wouldn't find this book fascinating. Obviously, Malcolm Speed's point of view isn't free of bias, but getting the inside scoop on a decade's worth of cricketing scandals is worth it. Highly recommended - but for cricket lovers only.
