I read this novel in one spellbound weekend and was sorry when it was over. A compelling read that drew me in from page one, and it stays with me 3 years later. I found myself rooting hard for the main characters, even when they were in opposition amongst themselves. When I'm so invested in the outcome, wanting everyone to have a happy ending even though they're in a tangle of conflicts in a seemingly no-win situation, I know the author is doing something right. A book about relationships. I liked because each of the characters had depth. some of them were more likable, but I felt like I had insight into each of them. Difficult themes, abortion, infidelty,literal Christians, but unlying it all was a sense of hope
