In Kane’s romantic suspense novel, Rose Beheme had no past. Detective Dixon Lloyd insisted she was someone else and it was worth every minute it took to prove it in his eyes—after all, he had been searching for her for more than ten years. She had been his first homicide case and she had haunted him ever since. When he finds her very much alive, he realizes he may have led the person, who had attacked her years ago, straight to her front door. Determined to protect her, Dixon will do anything.

This was a surprising good little read. Quick and easy, but I really enjoyed it. Loved the plot.

Mallory Kane has two very good reasons for loving reading and writing. Her mother was a librarian, who taught her to love and respect books. Her father could hold listeners spellbound for hours with his stories. He was always her biggest fan.
With more than 34 Harlequin Intrigues published, as well as several paranormal romantic suspense and numerous short stories, Mallory is still amazed and thri
