This brief action-packed, camp-based picture book sets readers up for vigorous movement and games. Not only are the activities named and the multicultural children in the cheerful acrylic illustrations eager participants in the high-spirited romp, but the parts of the body involved in performing the lively amusements are identified as well.
Short rhythmic verbs, and bold typeface are coupled with smiling campers demonstrating sports and activities from hiking, swimming and tumbling, to dancing,...more

This is a great book to show children was to move their bodies. It will get them up and exercising while having fun the whole time.

Have mini field day and have the children do obstacles and play games like hula hooping sack race bowling jump rope etc...

A collection of rhyming action words, but the plot has to be extrapolated from the pictures of kids at summer camp. The illustrations are bright, with super-happy multicultural kids on the move.

Might be good for a two-year old storytime to get them up and moving.
Great Books
The perfect book to get everyone moving all of their body parts. A group of friends demonstrate some the many ways they have foot stomping fun and invite you to find your talent for moving. Reviewer 4.

Great get the wiggles out book! I love the variety of movements included and that charcters represent a wide range of ethnicities. This is a great book for fans of Lorinda Bryan Cauley's Clap Your Hands.
Elaine
Very good illustrations. The preschool audience enjoyed attempting to associate and read the words along with the children's action in the story. Good for storytime audience participation.

This book would be great for Storytime. It doesn't have much of a plot, but for those preschoolers that find themselves not being able to pay attention to a story this is for them.

Let's move and have some fun. Flap your arms, wiggle your toes, clomp your feet, and scrunch your nose. A neat little book for storytime and getting the little ones to move!
Jennifer
Great for storytime. Actions for tons of body parts. Would be good for toddlers to introduce and re-inforce those parts we don't talk about much. Waist, hips and knees..
Betsy
I'm thinking this will be a fun pick for storytime -- lots of simple physical actions, with few words per page. I'm looking forward to trying this one out!
Anne
Not much to this one, but it could be a good one for getting the kids moving midway through storytime with some simple actions.

Excited to get the book, but disappointed. However, I could turn this into a great yoga story time.
Erin
This book is all about actions and body parts. It definitely gets everyone up and moving!
