Firefighters to the Rescue is a very cute book in which I think children will enjoy. The book is cute because I think it gives children the chance to realize what firefighters do and how they help us and lets them daydream of being a firefighter. The words are very easy to read in this book. I would recommend reading this to second graders and younger. If you would read this book to older children I think they would feel like they are too old for a story like this. The pictures almost look like...more
The story is about an ordinary day of cooking, laughing, and putting out a fire and rescuing a beloved pet. This will show students that the firefighters are people like us. They can become firefighters. This book has great illustrations and easy to read words. The word firefighter is a great word to introduce for the book.
This is a book all about firefighters. What they do in the fire house, the fact that they eat and sleep there, and happens when a fire alarm goes off.
I would use this book in my classroom along with a lesson on community and the people who help keep us safe.

This book is a good book for kids to read to learn about firefighters. It has very bold pictures that depict a firefighters adventure well.
This book is strictly about male firefighters. There is no indication that women can also be firefighters.
I felt this book as just another book on firefighters. I expected more.

Firefighters rescue a little puppy from a burning building for a little boy in this book filled with lovely illustrations. My daughter loves firefighters now and we look for fire stations every time we are on the road.
This is a good book about firefighters. It would be a good book to introduce when firefighters are about to come to the school and visit.
