OMG... I was entirely captivated by Untouchable... I mean like I threw together the quickest meal possible for my kids just so I could get back to reading this book. Lindsay created a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat, wanting to know what will happen next to Leese. While I will admit it is a tad predictable I can't take away the fact that I couldn't put it down... I'm anxious to start Unforgivable and quite frankly I'm struggling with how strong the urge is to dive right into it...more

I very rarely leave reviews or ratings for books I cannot finish but I was so disappointed in this book that I had to do so.
This book had so much potential-a unique story, well-developed characters and it was written well. The problem? It is was overrun by so much religious preaching that it was impossible for me to finish. I LOVED THIS BOOK. When I read the reviews alot of people said that it was very 'religious' and 'church-based' but I really wanna tell everyone that NO IT's NOTHING LIKE THAT. I'm not a Christian myself and I didn't find it all so much religious.

Untouchable had suspense, action, romance and lots of twists!! At times I really couldn't put it down and I've got to say even though I know I'm not supposed to like Micah..I LOVED him, his character and the redemption!! In regard to Annalisa, she had guts and character but the whole religious vibe drove me nuts. Personally for me it was too much and ruined the book for me.

I can see how some people might enjoy this book but I did not.
To start with Annalisa was too perfect with the exception being her massive ego. Second, I have nothing against religion, if thats your thing, but I thought it was a bit extreme when Annalisa pretty much forces Evan to go to church. In general, the undertones of the book were a little too religious pushy for my taste. Should have been more clear about it being a Christian romance. Really liked this book alot!!! Action packed, suspense, romance, and the mafia!! The story was great and loved Leese and Micah.. After i got to about 30% it really started picking up i couldn't seem to put it down after that! The only problem I had with this book is that sometimes i felt like things were rushed, not alot of built up at times.. At it's core, this book is about first love and redemption. I have mixed feelings about this book... I enjoyed the excitement, and the thrill and even the relationship between Annalisa and Micah. But after a while I started getting really irritated with Annalisa- she was being quite the tease (in my opinion) and I often found her character to be contradictory. This has to be one of the most original (and strange) ideas for a so-called romance novel ever: a hard-bodied twenty-something mobster hitman is hired to take out a high school heiress in hiding. One thing I'll never understand is why some parents give their children the same name as themselves. Matt and his son Matt junior, what the? It's just super strange and demoralizing to have been christened the same name as your parents!

It felt as if the struggle lasted for hours, I remembered saying that I wasn’t going to tell him how much I loved him because I didn’t want to hurt him. I was telling him my plans to save him from having to kill me. I finally gave up the struggle. Out of breath and tired, I could feel something warm running against my skin and the taste of tears that were not my own.

This book was not what I expected but shockingly enough it was a good story. Leese was witty and feisty but also a snob at sometimes. I really liked Untouchable. The plot was what initially piqued my interest as it certainly seemed different from the current NA contemporary romances that I have read.

I loved this book so much that I had to finish the series before I wrote this review. Before I start I want to say that if you are a hardcore Atheist and you get a rage boner at the mention of the word Jesus, even if it's just a Mexican guy cutting your grass, ya might want to pass this book up. It does have some spiritual elements mentioned throughout which didn't bother me, I used to go to Church and all but I liked God better when I wasn't balls deep in church drama. Well, the cover is deffinetely misleading. It looks like an Adult book from the look, but it's more modest than Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally or Shiver by Meggie Stiefvater.
And once again the ending pulled my raiting of a book higher than I would have given if I hadn't read the last chapters.

When I began to read Untouchable, I wasn’t sure what type of book I was reading. I didn’t look at the genre, I didn’t read the synopsis. I liked the title. I liked the thought of something or someone being untouchable. Who in this world considers themselves untouchable? Or do we wish to be untouchable? This book has a crazy plot but it definitely worked! This is a favorite for sure, i normally don't read books that involve the mob but i'm so happy i took a chance. I was so torn about rating this book. On one hand, I loved it so much. On the other, there were parts about it that really tested my nerves and patience and I just can't ignore that.

I first gave it 5 starts..but I actually changed my mind after reading the second book. I liked the story..but the religious stuff annoyed the heck out of me..Im very religious myself..so its not the the fact that God was mentioned that annoyed me..but the fact that it was as was forced on to you. It had no real place in the book and its like the writer just needed to fit it into the story..

This book was so much more than I bargained for. It was a romantic adventure if you consider the man you are having the adventure with is going to kill you. Annalisa has a bright future ahead of her at her new school with new friends…and plenty of hot new guys to surround her. Going into this book, I didn't know what to expect. After reading the blurb, I knew it was going to be different from most cliche' romances of boy meets girl, boy falls for girl, girl falls for boy, someone or something gets in the way of boy and girl's relationship, cry cry cry, heartbreak, boy shows up and begs for forgiveness, girl falls dramatically into boy's arms, cry cry cry, happily every after. This was ok. I felt like it took forever to get anywhere/anything accomplished. It was a bit over the top on the believability factor. I am not sure that I will continue on in the series.
