"What is it about you Nikolas Ivanov? Shouldn't you be in a padlocked room mumbling to yourself and drooling from too much anti-psychotic medication? Most weak-minded humans avoid all contact with the supernatural, but you go searching for it."

When I was approached to review this, Logan sold me with "paranormal romance" as I consider that of my favourite genres.
While I do see romance between the characters what captured me more was the plot itself. Talk about an action packed ride throu...more

Sometimes you just dont know what to expect when you begin to read a novel. That is where I was with this one. Adrian knows what she wants and that is and has always been Nikolas. Unfortunately, when they finally have their moment, he tells her they should have never taken that step. Adrian is devastated and decides her long friendship with Nikolas must end. This part of flows a little too fast and we don't g et to connect as mu...more

I didn't think I was a big fan of paranormal romance...until my wife pointed out to be that all the Sookie Stackhouse books I read a year ago fit right into that category. The 9th Dimension falls into that category, too, and it's a well-told, gripping story that leaves the reader hanging at the end and hoping for a sequel.
The book stumbles a few places in the opening, but don't let that deter you--soon, you'll find yourself enmeshed in an unconventional love-story replete with demons, succubi, a...more

I received this book as a goodreads giveaway.
This book perplexed me from the beginning. I feel like it was stuck between being an anthology with too much filler detail or being a book with not enough character development or explanations. I really liked the basic plot idea, but I think it kept getting sidetracked/lost by events not crucial to the story that were included simply to make it longer. Typically when you read a book you know who the main character is and you begin to be attached to th...more

There's something off about this book that I just can't put my finger on. It should have been good. The ideas and the story are all there, but something just kept bothering me and kept me from getting into it. The writing style felt jilted, and there were many, very obvious spelling and grammar errors. I checked at one point to make sure I wasn't reason an ARC. I also never really felt any connection with the...more

I've written many things in the last fifteen years or more. I started with short stories in high school and notebooks filled with horrible poetry. Every time a boy hurt me I had to get it out of me and onto paper. My most beloved of these notebooks is covered in glittery sailor moon trading cards which I glued to the front. Several of my poems were published in my high school lit magazines and I a...more
