I do not know why I do this to myself. I keep saying I will not read the next book in a series until all books are out or it is close to the next book. UUGGGHHHHHH but I did it again. I was reminded today by the author that I had the next book on my TBR list and could not stop myself from reading it. Sometimes having a Nook is not the greatest thing when I know I can buy a book in less then two minutes. Now I have to wait until December for the next book. Who is going to return? Will Guy be back ...more

Let me just tell you this, I had sat down with the first book in this series, Boyfriend From Hell one day, and I sat down with this one, the second in the series, the next, so my brain was practically fried by the time I put this book down. So much went on and I have to admit that I was thoroughly satisfied with most of it, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to finish the two books in two days. But out of the two books, I definitely enjoyed the second th
This was an interesting read. Angels, demons, and mortals fighting to save their world. The story takes place three weeks after the first book finished. Megan is dealing with the loss of Matt and Erin - her best friend has changed and refuses to speak to her after the death of her boyfriend Matt. Both of them are suffering, but can't deal with it.

Megan's boyfriend - an angel guardian named Guy, is trying to protect her from demons who would love to get their hands on the powerful book she found.

I love when books open and close with the same scene or components, like the feather that falls down on the opening and closing scene of Forest Gump. However, the outcome of this similar component leads to two different emotions. Megan lie has gone back to normal as much as can be expected after falling in love with an angel and winning a fight against Satan. She lost her best friend Matt to suicide and Erin because she blames Mean or Matt’s death. Now she has a new best friend, Maudrina, ho kno ...more

In my reviews, I will not give a lot of details that are in the book. Otherwise, there is no reason for you to read the book!! In my review I also won't give you the same description the book does. Like some reviews do. (UGH!)

With that said: Earth Angel is just as good as the first book. Even though the first book had ended with one of Meagan's friends, Erin, threatening her, there really wasn't much of her in this one. However, it didn't dampen the over all story. There still was a Demon advent

I happen to be the publisher of this book, so I'm clearly biased. However, when I discovered that this series had not been snapped up by a bigger publisher, I jumped in. E. Van Lowe writes so well because he'd been a writer and producer on "The Cosby Show" among other sitcoms and knows how to create an involving storyline and amazing dialogue. He knows young women and men well, and their awkward interaction. He weaves in humor among the heart-pounding drama, and like J.K. Rowling of Harry Potter ...more

Destiny Binds Him

Just because Megan Barnett recently defeated Satan, has a fantastic new best friend, and has won the love of deliciously handsome Guy Matson, doesn't mean her troubles are over. Far from it. For Megan doesn't realize it, but in her possession is a powerful weapon, one so

Characters: Unlike the previous installment, this book presents more stable characters who, though still lacking a certain depth, seem more realistic than before. Throughout the story, I could see Megan's character develop, if only slightly, since her character seems nearly fully developed already. Other characters, such as her mother, Suze, have less of a hold on their identity, as it seems the author still tri

This book was by far superior to the first. Megan had grown a lot through the first book, but even more here. We learn that Megan is special, it’s the only reason why demons are chasing her and what she has, but she doesn’t really know why for sure. She just wants to spend time with her super hot angel boyfriend, who is actually a fallen angel who has clipped his wings to be on Ea

Earth Angel picks up right where Boyfriend from Hell left off. Megan is left trying to piece together the shambles of her life after the epic battle with Satan. Although she now has her mother back, she has lost two friends. Life is seemingly getting back to “normal”. Well, a new normal for Megan.

I was so happy to see the relationship between Megan and Guy grow in this book. I was rooting for them all the way. It i

A review copy was provided for an honest review. Earth Angel is a quick and fun read. I liked the sequel a little more than the first book because E. Van Lowe introduces a couple of new characters who are very interesting and entertaining. I felt like there was much more story and character development going on and many different things happening that kept it fresh.

The sequel is set shortly after Boyfriend From Hell (Falling Angels Saga, #1); jumping to when Megan's already recuperated from her

I liked this book more than the first one in the trilogy, and from the way it ended it seems like the last book is going to be the best one yet! Earth Angel totally changed my view of Megan and Guy. I liked both of them so much more, and I felt like I really got to know each of them so much better.

Megan has shown so much character growth. It makes me kind of proud really. I felt so bad for her in most of this book because of what was going on with Erin and her mom. It was just not fair at all!

Earth Angel is the epic sequel to Boyfriend from Hell and let me just say this series keeps getting better and better. I had fallen in love with the first book. I am a huge fan of Angel and Demon books. I think the usage of Christian "mythology" in a sense is very captivating and entertaining. But for the majority of the first book we as readers didn't know that her mom's boyfriend was the Devil or that Guy was an Angel. So Earth Angel is where we got to see a development of mythology. Megan met ...more

Megan Barnett is still reeling from her battle against Satan. In the blink of an eye, she's lost her two best friends - Matt, who died for the noble cause and Erin, who blames her for Matt's death. The loss of both deals her heart a heavy blow, but she knows that sometimes all things happen for a reason. Even if she can't quite understand why.

She now has a cute boyfriend, an angel, no less, by her side. Surely, that counts for something. Yet deep inside, she knows that nothing can replace the em

I enjoyed Book 2 just as much as Book 1.

Now that Megan has chucked Satan back to Hell where he belongs, she can concentrate on healing her wounded heart after the death of Matt, salvaging her friendship with Erin, and spending time with her now-grounded Heavenly Angel, Guy. Even the best laid plans have bumps in the road.

Megan still has the The Book of Calls--the tool used to defeat Satan. Now, everyone wants the book; Angels in Heaven, Demons in Hell, and Nephilim on Earth.

EARTH ANGEL, by E.Van Lowe is the sequel to Boyfriend from Hell which I absolutely loved!! Megan is one of those characters that really sticks out in your mind when the book is long finished. She is quirky, intelligent, and has a heart of gold.

It really surprised me that this book was written by a man. Lowe really got into the mind of a fifteen year old girl and I was astonished that he accomplished that. These books remind my of the Ruby Oliver series by E. Lockhart in such a good way! I love r

This book started where it left off where it ended in book 1 (Boyfriend From Hell). I have to say that I really enjoyed reading the first book, and I had to get my claws on the second. And I have to say, there wasn't a moment that I regretted.

Megan thought everything was over, since her mum's "boyfriend" is actually Satan and her boyfriend is a fallen angel. Megan wasn't the ty

A few months ago, I read the first book in this series, Boyfriend from Hell and I loved it, so when I found out Earth Angel was coming out I had to sign up. Sometimes sequels though good are not as good as the first book. But this one was even better than the first if it was possible.

We pick up where we left off in the first one, Megan coming to terms with all the events that happened in the first book, battling Satan, falling in love with her Angel, Guy and making a new best friend. Besides nig

In book two of the Fallen Angels series Megan is trying to get her life back to some version of normal. After death of one friend and losing the other to jealousy, she finds that Maudrina and Guy are the only people she really has left to talk to, especially when it come to her supernatural adventures from book one. While Megan may believe that her adventures are over, things ramp up again pretty quickly when they discover a low-level demon has been tracking her.

HOLY EARTH ANGEL! I have to say that this book blew me out the water. We get so much more action and development of the characters and even new characters come into the picture and I just could not put this book down. Lord I started reading it at work and then when it was time to leave I switched over to my Kindle and kept reading it. That is how much I loved this story.

Now that Megan has defeated Armando and sent him back to hell, she can start picking up the pieces of her life. Dealing with the death of Matt and the loss of Erin's friendship is taking its toll on Megan. Her mom is also hurting over the sudden disappearance of Armando.

All the popular kids are being nice to her now and trying to include her in their events. Erin is at a new school and wants nothing at all to do with her. Megan finds friendship in Maudrina, a dog-loving outcast with a heart of

I loved, loved, LOVED it! It was awesome and had shocking twists I did not see coming! The ending...Oh my gods! I want more! I need more! I sooo cannot wait for book 3!

Earth Angel had awesome descriptions, tons of actions, and lots of emotion. Megan's character has really grown and developed, while Guy...gosh, that guy is just totally swoon-worthy, yet still a bit mysterious. Love it! I was really glad to see more of him and Megan in this book.

If you haven't noticed, I am a HUGE fan of E.Van Lowe's Falling Angels Saga! HUGE! Lowe has done an incredible job of writing the characters in this book. Megan, the main character, starts out as this incredibly self absorbed teenage girl that continues to grow into an amazing kick-ass, selfless heroine. Megan's mom, Suze, both impresses me and infuriates me all in the same book. Guy is perfect and then, well... he isn't. Earth Angel is the second book in the Falling Angels Saga. I normally don't like to read a series out of order, but in this case I did, and I feel that E. Van Lowe did a wonderful job in making it easy to follow.

At the begining of the book, Megan seems like your typical teenage girl..excellent student, wonderful daughter, and caring friend, who is trying to deal with the lost of her bestfriend, Matt (in book ONE). As the book progress, her character begins to take a whole new turn, from a model

Earth Angel is a fast paced and fantastic YA novel that will leave your hearth thumping in your chest.

As always, Van Lowe brings his readers a vibrant cast of character who are endlessly charming and entertaining. From Aunt Jaz to Maudrina to the newly introduced Harrison, and of course, the teenage-embodiment-of-perfection, Guy. Meg is just fabulous as a heroine, always pushing through her fears and subtly flawed. In all honesty, Aunt Jaz is my favorite, as I believe she is keeping bigger secr
