I am not finished reading all the profiles yet. This books sits on my coffee table (it is nice to look at) and I pick it up and browse through it often. The stories are inspirational to me and motivate me to continue on my current career path with the ultimate goal of wildlife conservation. I have one issue with this book. This book seemed to be more about quantity than quality. Not to take away anything from the 40 people profiled; they've all done wonderful work. But each profile was little more than a sketch and brief outline of the work that each of these wildlife heroes have accomplished. If the goal of the author Julie Scardinia, was to get their message out there, then she at least accomplished that.
