*Warning* I was only able to read up the tenth chapter.
I really wanted to like this book, but I couldn't get into it.
In the first chapter, the the main character (whose name has not yet been revealed) is 22 years old and presumably in love with someone named Carla.
The main character then proceeds to back-pedal and narrate his primary school memories. By the third chapter the main character is in high school. By the tenth chapter, the main character's name has still not yet been re...more

I jumped at the opportunity to read this new book because the author is a friend of mine. Well kudos to Clayton for his debut into the world of fiction literature! I thoroughly enjoyed his clever colloquial writing style and found the story line of his icarus-esque hero journey to stardom addictively enticing. I'll be keeping an eye out for any further publications :)
