David Limbaugh's book was a tough read at first. He does an excellent job in explaining how Obama messed up our economy with his borrow and spend practices. Limbaugh has done his homework but his explanation of the trouble our economy is in never really brought this issue down to brass tacks. What does Obama's stimulus economics mean to me. Like David Limbaugh's previous book, Crimes Against Liberty, I found The Great Destroyer to be a bit of a slog to get through. It's 400 pages of non-stop anti-Obama prose, which means that even for a conservative like myself it's not pleasant reading. Less than halfway through this painstakingly researched and annotated book, I was wondering how on earth 1) a majority of the American people voted for Barack Obama in 2008 and 2) he’s been able to elude impeachment so far.

Ironically, I finished this book about a more-than-muddled presidency on the birthday of the protagonist. David Limbaugh gives us no reason to celebrate this president. David Limbaugh is the brother of the well-known talk show host, Rush Limbaugh. However, regardless of the political orientation of the author, the facts, many provided by the administration and left-wing political allies, speak for themselves.

David Limbaugh launches a studied attack on Barack Oboma's presidency, even his whole administration. He states that Oboma is stongly against the United States Constitution and wants to to make the American people dependent on an all powerful central government and leave Americans without any guarenteed rights such as freedom of religion and the ability to defend themselves. This book will make you mad. I would have given it five stars but Limbaugh spends too much time with each point. The important thing is that the examples used in the book are well supported with multiple references. This books is essentially a journal of all of the many unethical and too often illegal stunts pulled by the Obama administration. Conservatives who read this book will cringe. I will not pretend that this book was written without biases. But I think Mr Limbaugh has accurately detailed much of the outrageous behavior that Obama has perpetrated on the American people. A direct sequel to Crimes Against Liberty; David Limbaugh comes out firing on all cylinders and paints a very interesting portrait of the failures of President Barack Obama.
I could only shake my head and laugh every time I put this down out of sheer disgust and wonder how the hell is any of this stuff happening and why the hell no one calls him on it; then I realize everyone around him is more-or-less the same way, and the people who are against him won't attack him for fear of whatever reason.

Those who are laboring under the false impression that the liberties of citizens of the United States of America have not been diminished under the hopefully single Obama administration must read this book (and others revealing the real direction in which he intends for our country) before the November 2012 election.
A little on the dull simply due to the number of facts he has goes through but all-in-all it was good information who feels they may be in situations where they have to innumerate what Obama has done wrong.
This was one incredibly detailed, thoroughly documental refutation of the disaster known as the Obama administration.

A harder read than The Amateur thus the 3 stars. Lot of details of Obama's road of disaster so probably rates 5 stars. All voters should be required to read it.
I was only able to read and process one chapter at a time. Absolutely appalling just how egotisitical this man is; and how far he has contributed to lowering the standards of America and the presidential seat. Very eye opening!
Be afraid. Be very afraid. If you respect the USA, read this before the November election.

The author is much easier to hear than his older brother, Rush. The information was right on the money, to the point and clearly stated.

I had a feeling that reading this book would make me angry and I was not wrong . . . Had more voting Americans also read this book, the outcome of the 2012 election would have been very different. While Limbaugh injects much of his opinion within the pages of this book, his opinion is backed by factual instances during the last 4 years (even earlier in some cases) and by using the quotes of much of the media, many liberals, and Obama himself to make his claims. Limbaugh uses too many right wing sources but points out a few things I didn't know about and reminded me a lot about what Obama has already done and what he might do now that he is re-elected. Good pre-election read.
Read at the recommendation (or challenge?) of a friend. About what you would expect from an arch conservative. As far as I can tell most of the facts are correct (which saves it from 1 star). But they are always spun to give the worst view of the president. And the spinning isn't always consistent, except for the negativity. I am not a Democrat, but I think it is absurd to say they are purposely trying to destroy our country.
well written, well researched but nothing original.
Very good book. Its gives a great insight on the President that was never covered by the mainstream media before, during or after the election. Its a must read if anyone wants to know the true agenda of the President.
Our current President is trying to fundamentally change the country. here is the documentation to show how he is doing this.
Very sad what the President has been allowed to get away with.
The title says it all; well written summary of all of Obama's policies and their affect on our nation.
